103 FLUFF SUPPRESSING DEVICE JP293190 1990-01-10 JPH03211171A 1991-09-13 OHASHI KENJI
PURPOSE:To prevent fluff from occurring at the time of winding by installing a nozzle, which has a yarn passage and gets an air injection port opened in the tangential direction of this yarn passage, in a spun yarn running passage at a cop-winding machine. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle 1 is installed in a spot just upward of a tenser disk 4 of an automatic winder. In this nozzle 1, a yarn guide pipe 8 is pierced through in the longitudinal direction of the central part, and it is interconnected to a slit 7 formed at the side of this nozzle 1. In the central part of this yarn guide pipe 8, there are provided with multiple air injection holes 10, and an air inlet port 9 is formed in place orthogonal with these injection holes 10. Each of these holes 10 is made in the tengential direction of the yarn guide pipe 8 and in horizontality. Accordingly, when yarn taken into the yarn guide pipe 8 through the slit 7 passes through the nozzle 1, it is subjected to a false twist by a swirl flow of air being sprayed out of the tengential direction, so that the occurrence of fluff is checked, thus various hindrances caused by the fluff is prevented.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cured article wherein crack widening, fragment falling or excessive deformation can be highly inhibited by compounding an organic fiber to which a shape enabling excellent physical adhesion to the cured article is imparted by a simple, low-cost, thermal or mechanical processing method, although the organic fiber, even simply added to a hydraulically cured article such as cement concrete, mortar and slate or to a cured polymer such as plastic (thermosetting or thermoplastic resin molded product) and rubber (tire, belt, hose, etc.), can be easily pulled out thereof like a melt-spun organic fiber having a circular section, and a manufacturing method of the cured article. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the cure article comprises: a crushing step of crushing twisted yarns comprising organic fibers to obtain crushed twisted yarns; a compounding step of compounding the crushed twisted yarns with an uncured material and; a curing step of curing the uncured material with which the crushed twisted yarns are compounded. The twisted yarns comprising organic fibers such as a polyamide, a polyester, polyvinyl alcohol and a polyolefin are crushed so that the fibers composing the twisted yarns achieve a shape in which the sectional shape changes in the lengthwise direction. The resultant fibers are mixed into or embedded in the cured article as reinforcing fibers. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
114 FLUFF-DETECTING DEVICE FOR PLURAL YARNS JP2000383016 2000-12-18 JP2002180348A 2002-06-26 MIYAKITA YASUHIRO; WATANABE TADAYUKI
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluff-detecting device of traveling yarns for plural yarns, capable of detecting a fluff caused by the break of a single fiber in each yarn in good accuracy in the process for efficiently producing two or more plural yarns of high-strength yarns by a high-speed spinning at >=2,000 m/min and by a direct spin-draw process. SOLUTION: In a method for detecting the fluff comprising separating the fluff from the traveling yarns by the centrifugal force when the traveling directions of the traveling yarns comprising plural yarns are changed, allowing the separated fluff to collide with a fluff-detecting tip part of the fluff-detecting device arranged so as to cross the traveling passages of the traveling yarns and so as to be brought near thereto, and detecting the fluff by the impact force, the fluff detecting device is characterized in that the device has plural fluff-detecting tip parts so as to be able to separately detect the fluff of each traveling yarn formed on each of the traveling yarns of the two or more plural yarns, and arranged at each of the traveling yarns, and protecting members for preventing dislocation, bending and break of the fluff-detecting tip parts caused by yarn break, or the like, arranged at the fluff-detecting tip parts.

PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus for suppressing fluff, capable of affording spun yarn substantially without any fluff and readily performing the maintenance such as regulation of contact pressure and excellent in durability. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus for suppressing fluff is equipped with a pair of rollers 11 and 12 mutually brought into contact in crossed running directions and delivering yarn while nipping the yarn. The contact part in at least either 12 of the pair of the rollers with the yarn has elasticity and flexibility and a cavity part is formed in the interior thereof.

117 PRODUCTION OF CARBON FIBER JP23872791 1991-08-26 JPH0559618A 1993-03-09 KOMINE KIKUJI; UENOYAMA YOSHIO
PURPOSE:To obtain a carbon fiber in which fluff produced in a fiber bundle entwine around the fiber bundle and which is excellent in properties of unwinding from bobbins, etc., by threading a carbonized or a graphitized fiber bundle through a liquid and rotating the liquid around the outer periphery of the fiber bundle. CONSTITUTION:A carbonized or a graphitized fiber bundle (F) is threaded through a liquid (A), which is rotated around the outer periphery of the fiber bundle with a pump means 10, etc. Thereby, fluff is entwined around the fiber bundle. Water, a liquid having <=200 deg.C boiling point or a liquid containing a sizing agent for carbon fiber mixed therein is preferred as the liquid (A). The viscosity of the liquid is preferably 0.1-5.0cP at 25 deg.C.
