摘要： Puzzle-cut imageable seam intermediate transfer belts having a large seam surface area, and marking machines that use such imageable seam intermediate transfer belts. A belt is formed from a semiconductive substrate having a puzzle-cut first end and a puzzle-cut second end that are mated to form a seam. The first end includes a first tongue and the second end includes a second tongue that form a rabbeted joint such that the outer surface of the belt is substantially smooth across the seam. An adhesive is disposed over the rabbeted joint. The tongues may include mechanical locking features, such a protrusion and a channel, that mate. The mechanical locking features may be continuous along the seam.

摘要： Multiple layer fuser belts having a woven fabric layer and a high conformability, low surface energy elastic layer. The fabric layer is formed from high modulus, high temperature fibers that are woven together at acute angles to the circumference of the belt fibers. The fabric layer forms a substrate with preferential stretching along the circumference of the fuser belt. The elastic layer is bonded to the fabric layer and is made from a highly conformable, low durometer material having a low surface tension. When the fuser belt is partially wrapped around a driven roller so as to form a nip with a pressure roller the fuser belt stretches in the direction of belt motion. As the fuser belt passes through the nip the fuser belt contracts, releasing surface tension and thus reduces sticking between the fuser belt and fused toner.

摘要： A seamless intermediate transfer member has a reinforcing member in an endless configuration, a filler material such as a polymer and electrical property regulating material to regulate the electrical properties such as surface and bulk resistivity, dielectric constant and charge dissipation. The seamless intermediate transfer member also has good mechanical properties. The reinforcing member can be prepared by any suitable method such as by weaving. Filler material and electrical regulating material can be applied on, around or embedded into the reinforcing member. The member can be employed in an electrostatographic imaging system with more than one toner imaging station. The member can pick up a separate image from each individual imaging station and transfer the combined image to a suitable substrate. The seamless intermediate transfer member is capable of dissipating charge between toner imaging stations, achieving good transfer efficiencies and has a non-stretch characteristic to attain good registration of a toner image.
