    • In a switch device, a switch is provided in a tightly closed switch chamber in a casing, and an operating element is advanceably and retreatably inserted into the switch chamber through an opening in the casing. An actuating member, connected to an inner end of the operating element for operating the switch, is provided in the switch chamber and has a fitting hole which including a small diameter portion and a large diameter portion. The inner end of the operating element is passed through a sealing member for sealing between the operating element and the opening, and is fitted into the small diameter portion of the fitting hole to form an annular seal clamping portion between an inner peripheral surface of the large diameter portion of the fitting hole and an outer peripheral surface of the operating element. An outer peripheral surface of the sealing member is secured to the casing, and an inner peripheral surface of the sealing member is clamped by the seal clamping portion. Thus, it is possible to insure an intended sealing function for a long period of time.

    • An airtight adapter to be mounted to an airtight unit requiring airtightness, e.g. a glove box, with which it is possible to easily replace a part of the airtight adapter while maintaining airtightness. The adapter has an outer-cylinder adapter body, an internal adapter body inserted into and fitted in the outer-cylinder adapter body and at least two annular sealing members positioned between the internal adapter body and the outer-cylinder adapter body. By determining a length of the outer-cylinder adapter body and positions of the sealing members, the internal adapter body can be easily, airtightly replaced by bringing a spare internal adapter body into contact with the already-fitted internal adapter body at the outside of the airtight unit; pushing and inserting the spare internal adapter body into the cylinder of the outer-cylinder adapter body while moving the already-fitted internal adapter body toward the inside of the airtight unit; securing the spare internal adapter body at a predetermined position in the cylinder of the outer-cylinder adapter body.

    • An electromagnetic valve device includes a valve operating unit formed by disposing valve components in a valve housing having a guide cylinder and mounted to a base member, and a tip end of the guide cylinder and a housing body are magnetically connected to each other by a magnetic path defining frame surrounding a coil wound around a bobbin. The bobbin is buried in a mold section made of synthetic resin to form a coil unit. The coil unit is mounted to the base member. One end of the magnetic path defining frame is formed with a fitting bore through which the tip end of the guide cylinder is fitted, and the other end of the magnetic path defining frame is capable of abutting against the housing body. The magnetic path defining frame is mounted to a coil-correspondence portion of the mold section. The guide cylinder is loosely passed through a center bore of the bobbin. With this arrangement, a magnetic path can reliably be formed by the magnetic path defining frame, and the coil, bobbin and magnetic path defining frame can easily be mounted to each of the valve operating units.
