摘要： A mechanism is described for facilitating adjustment of video encoding rates and adaption of views in computing environments according to one embodiment. An apparatus of embodiments, as described herein, includes logic to track data associated with movement of a computing device accessible to a user, and logic to evaluate the data and compare a latency with latency thresholds, where the data indicates the latency and the latency thresholds associated with a frame. The apparatus further includes logic to maintain a current video encoding rate, if the latency is lower than a first latency threshold and greater than a second latency threshold. The current video encoding rate is decreased if the latency is equal to or greater than the first latency threshold, where the current video encoding rate is increased if the latency is lower than the second latency threshold. The apparatus further includes logic to present the frame at the computing device including one or more of a wearable device and a mobile device.

The method may include receiving, by a computer, a selection to detect wireless display devices. The computer may include one or more processors, a radio transceiver, and a microphone. The method may also include identifying, by the radio transceiver, a plurality of wireless display devices and transmitting, by the radio transceiver, respective connection requests to the plurality of wireless display devices. Additionally, the method may include transmitting, by the radio transceiver to the wireless display devices, respective requests for inaudible audio signal transmission. The method may also include receiving, by the microphone, a plurality of inaudible audio signals from the wireless display devices. Further still, the method may include determining, based at least in part on the plurality of inaudible audio signals, whether any of the plurality of wireless display devices are in the same room as the computer.

摘要： Techniques are disclosed that involve communicating in bursty noise environments. For instance, a source device may send a probing packet to a destination device. This probing packet is for determining whether the communications medium (e.g., one or more frequency channels) is currently exhibiting a busy or jammed (e.g., due to bursty noise) condition. More particularly, based on whether an acknowledgment of the probing packet is received, the source device determines whether the channel is jammed (or busy) or clear. For example, an unacknowledged probing packet indicates that the channel is jammed or busy, while an acknowledged probing packet indicates that the channel is clear. If the channel is determined to be clear, then the source device may transmit one or more data packets to the destination device. Such data packet transmissions may be in accordance with a non rate-adaptive technique.
