The method further comprises introducing the outsole member into a second mold, introducing a quantity of a midsole material into the second mold, the midsole material being in liquid form when introduced in the second mold, and allowing the liquid midsole material to cure to a resilient condition to form a midsole portion secured to the sheet portion. The midsole portion and outsole member constitute the shoe sole.

摘要： A continuous loop polishing pad that is reinforced by a reinforcing filler and a method for fabricating the polishing pad are described. The reinforced polishing pad is constructed by a sub-layer and a top layer, wherein the sub-layer defines an inner diameter of the polishing pad and contains a reinforcing filler with an aspect ratio of at least 10 oriented substantially in a circumferential direction of the continuous loop polishing pad. The top layer is laminated to the sub-layer with a top surface defining an outer diameter of the polishing pad, while both the sub-layer and the top layer are formed of a polymeric material. The invention further describes a method for fabricating the reinforced polishing pad in a continuous loop.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for preparing artificial acrylic marble of wave/wood patterns by use of an apparatus comprising a rotational body and a liquid resin feeder. The liquid resin feeder comprises at least two liquid resin inlets, a single liquid resin outlet, and a mobile molding belt. The rotational body has a rotating shaft with a plurality of spaced wings and is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise in the partially intermixed liquid resins on the mobile molding belt to form a wave/wood pattern while the liquid resins are cured. The wings are fixed along the shaft of the rotating body and alternately approach the bottom and the top of the liquid resins on the belt during the rotation of the rotating body. Thus, the artificial acrylic marble is provided with new patterns like wood and wave patterns and can be aesthetically harmonized with wood materials.

摘要： A method of producing a low stress, decorative article of manufacture having at least one relief portion extending therefrom includes casting a first thermosetting resin into recesses formed within a mold surface such that the first resin is not in contact with the mold surface. The first resin is partially cured to a “B” stage to provide an air inhibited out-of-mold surface. A coating of second thermosetting resin, such as unsaturated polyester, is then applied onto the partially cured first resin and onto the mold surface. A substrate having a face is placed in contacting relationship with the second thermosetting resin film and a progressively moving compressive force is applied to the second thermosetting resin via the substrate to prevent air from becoming entrained within the second thermosetting resin. The first and second thermosetting resins cure without the second thermosetting resin imparting shear stress on the first thermosetting resin.
