摘要： Aircraft systems and related methods and devices are provided for supporting a standalone or external flight management system (FMS) line replaceable unit (LRU) (108) using another LRU (102) onboard the aircraft. In one embodiment, the hosting LRU (102, 202, 302) includes a communications interface for coupling to a FMS LRU (108, 308), a first card (310, 500) coupled to the communications interface and including shared memory communicatively coupled to a shared memory interface (314, 512), and a flight guidance card (112, 312) communicatively coupled to one or more onboard systems (104, 304) to obtain operational data for the aircraft from the one or more onboard systems (104, 304) and provide the operational data to the first card (310, 500) via the shared memory interface (314, 512), wherein the first card (310, 500) is configured to retransmit the operational data to the FMS LRU (108, 308) via the communications interface.

摘要： A system for reducing message dropout rate in a communication system is provided. Message dropouts occur during transportation of isochronous datasets across a plesiochronous boundary. The system includes a first processing element (102) configured to operate in response to a first clock signal at a first clock speed. The system further includes a second processing element (104) configured to operate in response to a second clock signal at a second clock speed, different from the first clock speed. The second processing element (104) is operably connected to the first processing element (102) by a data bus. The first processing element (102) and the second processing element (104) are configured to indicate a fault when no dataset is received during a processing interval.

摘要： This electronic control system prevents unauthorized starting, use or movement of an automotive vehicle (1), and comprises a customer identification interaction unit (U-11) adapted to communicate (S11, S12) with a customer identification device (6) in order to control access to and starting of the vehicle. This system comprises a main electronic data transmission network (No) and at least two auxiliary electronic data transmission networks (N1-N7) connected to said main network. The customer identification device interaction unit (Un) is connected to a first auxiliary network (N-1). The system comprises data transmission means (G1-G7, N0, N-1-N7) adapted to convey, via the main network (N0), information data (S-i, S2) between the CID interaction unit (U11) and at least one control unit (U21-U23, U31-U34) of the vehicle connected to a second auxiliary network (N2, N3). In the method of the invention, a park-brake control unit (U23) sends a first encrypted challenge signal (S1) to a subsystem (101) including a CID interaction unit (U-11). The sub-system (101) decrypts the first message and sends back a message (S2, S3) which depends on the fact that the CID interaction unit has identified a CID as valid to start, use or move the vehicle.
