    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip cast molding tool for manufacturing a ceramic molding body of sophisticated shape in a short time without generating shrinkage cavities, minimizing excessive wall generating amount and releasing easily without generating cracks and deformations. SOLUTION: A slip cast molding tool is provided with a cavity formed by a non-water absorption mold 27 and communicated with a water absorption slurry feed line 28 and a core mold of water absorption properties, and directional coagulation is carried out all through from a cavity area being in contact with a water absorption mold to a cavity area being in contact with the non- water absorption mold 27 through a cavity area being in contact with the core mold. The wall-forming speed by the core mold is slower than the wall-forming speed by the water absorption mold and well-balanced. After slurry is solidified up to the cavity area being in contact with the non-water absorption mold 27, mold opening is carried out, and then the formed body is dried without removing the core mold from the formed body, and then the core mold is removed by heating.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable compressive stress and tensile stress to be freely given to an optional position of a member with a simple operation by using a jig of the quality of material having the coefficient of thermal expansion different from the member to heat or cool the jig fitting loose on the member. SOLUTION: A jig is shaped such that one of the jig and a member fit loose on the other, while the quality of material of the jig is selected to have the coefficient of thermal expansion different from the member. When the jig and member are heated or cooled according to the loose fitting relationship between the jig and member, a difference between the coefficients of thermal expansion of both applies a predetermined compressive or tensile stress to the member to enable the inspection of the member strength while enabling the measurement of the stress or strain of a hard member. For example, the member 2 has two projection parts 21, 22. A rod-like jig 5 is loose fitted between these two projection parts 21, 22 to be heated and cooled, so that the tensile stress can be given to the root parts of the two projection parts 21, 22 of the member 2.

    • PURPOSE:To make the casting rate larger by enhancing the water absorbing speed to a casting mold by a method wherein the slip casting mold is made of aggregate consisting of ceramic powder and water soluble polymer. CONSTITUTION:As aggregate, ceramic powder made of silicon nitride or the like is exampled. When ceramic powder made of the same material as that of the ceramic to be cast is employed, formed body can be prevented from being polluted with mold material. The preferable average particle diameter of the aggregate is 10mum or less. As the water soluble polymer, polyolefin glycol and the like are exampled. The preferable maximum mixing weight ratio of the polymer to the aggregate is 30:70. The casting mold concerned can be produced by pouring the mixture of the aggregate and the water soluble polymer through water in a gypsum mold or the like and, after being dried, releasing the dried mixture from the gypsum mold or by cold-isostatic-pressing the mixture of the aggregate and the water soluble polymer with a CIP forming device.
