    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure which can secure cooling performance of a power control unit, in a structure in which a step-up converter and an inverter constituting a motor and the power control unit are integrally stored in one case.SOLUTION: A driving device 10 includes: a transaxle chamber formed by covering an opening of a transaxle case 31 with a fixation pedestal 22; and a PCU chamber partitioned by the fixation pedestal 22 and a cover 43. The PCU chamber includes: a thin plate 23 made of a steel plate and disposed on the fixation pedestal 22; a cooler 27 disposed on the thin plate 23; a control board 29 disposed on the cooler 27; and a steel plate cover 43 mounted to the transaxle case 31 so as to cover a section from the fixation pedestal 22 to the control board 29. The thin plate 23 and the cooler 27 are tightened together to the fixation pedestal 22 by bolts 26 to constitute a heat insulating chamber, so as to suppress conduction of heat from a transaxle 30.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of a smoothing capacitor and reduce the size of an inverter device. SOLUTION: A 1st current command signal generating means which generates a 1st current command signal for driving a motor, a 1st pulse width modulation signal generating means 55 which generates 1st pulse width modulation signals PMU, PMV and PMW, a 2nd current command generating means which generates a 2nd current command signal for driving a generator and a 2nd pulse width modulation signal generating means 65 which generates 2nd pulse width modulation signals PGU, PGV and PGW are provided. The 1st and 2nd pulse width modulation signal generating means 55 and 65 generate the 1st pulse width modulation signal PMU, PMV and PMW and the 2nd pulse width modulation signals PGU, PGV and PGW with different ON/OFF timings. It can be avoided that the transistor of an inverter for a motor and the transistor of an inverter for a generator are turned on/turned off simultaneously.
