      SOLUTION: Equipment for manufacturing the electrophotographic photoreceptor has an end paint film removing member, containing a solvent removing a lower-end coating film of the cylindrical base substance 60 applied with an application liquid; and wiping tank 40 that is enclosable, except during the removal treatment of the lower-end coating film of the cylindrical base substance 60 arranging the end coating film removing member. Furthermore, an exhaust piping 72 is connected on the way of a solvent return piping 70 that connects the wiping tank 40 to a wiping liquid reserve tank 52. In the end coating film removal member, the liquid is pumped by a wiping liquid pumping pump 48 from the wiping liquid reserve tank 52 via a solvent discharge nozzle provided in the inner surface.
