    • PURPOSE:To form an amorphous semiconductor device on a thick-film IC substrate without exfoliating a thick film by forming an amorphous semiconductor layer by previously protecting a thick-film circuit by a metallic film on the formation of the amorphous semiconductor layer and removing the metallic film after the layer is attached. CONSTITUTION:Au layers 2, an insulating glass layer 3 and an Au layer 4 are printed and baked selectively onto a seramic substrate 1, thus forming a thick- film control circuit. A lower electrode 5 by a Cr evaporated film and a protective film 9 for the thick-film control circuit are formed, and the lower electrode 5 is connected to the thick-film control circuit. A metallic plate 6 is placed, and a hydrogenated amorphous Si layer 7 is deposited selectively through a plasma CVD method. When the metallic plate 6 is removed, the protective film 9 is taken away through etching and an ITO electrode 8 is formed selectively, a device consisting of a solid-state image pick-up element section 7 and a thick-film control section is obtained. In such constitution, the thick-film circuit has very excellent adhesive properties with the substrate and is stabilized secularly, a thick- film is not exfoliated even on a bonding operation on the circuit, and yield on mounting is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To enable any times of registration with each photomask by covering the register mark for the photomask with a transparent UV-cut film larger than the width of the register mark on the substrate side. CONSTITUTION:The 1st conductive layer and a register mark 5 are patterned on a substrate 4 and after an insulating layer and the 2nd conductive layer are formed thereon, a photoresist 6 of a positive type is deposited astop the same. On the other hand, a register mark 8 is formed on a photomask substrate 7, and a transparent UV-cut film 9 exhibiting large attenuation to the light having the effective photosensitive wavelength of the photoresist 6 is deposited thereon at the width larger than the mark 5. After the substrate 4 and the photomask are registered on the basis of the marks 5, 8, the substrate 7 is exposed with UV light from above and is developed.

    • PURPOSE:To unnecessitate the use of a high voltage for generating a defelcting field by a method wherein nonprinting ink droplets jetted from a nozzle are charged in the same polarity, and both the printing ink droplets and the nonprinting ink droplets are passed between deflecting electrodes of the same potential. CONSTITUTION:Nozzles 1 are arranged in two lines, i.e. upper and lower lines to form parallel rows of ink droplets. The droplets are charged selectively in accordance with printing information by charging electrodes. The rows of the droplets thus charged are repelled by eadh other by electrostatic forces acting between the droplets in the upper row and those in the lower row, and are deflected toward conductor plates 3, respectively. Simultaneously, mirror-image charges corresponding to the droplets are induced within the plates 3, whereby the droplets 10 are deflected further toward the plates 3. The charged droplets thus deflected enter into recovering gutters 2 and are recovered via suction ports 4. Meanwhile, the ink droplets 5 to be used for printing are not charged, so that they pass straightly between the conductor plates 3 and reach a recording medium 6 to print on it.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of disorder of a printing position and to improve a quality of a recording picture, by preventing spreading of an electric potential distribution at an ink upheaval part, and by flying ink to a recording substance only from the ink upheaval part. CONSTITUTION:An ink holder 7 has a slit 3, a substrate 1 pierces the space of the slit 3 as it divides the slit into an upper and a lower chamber, and the blade part is caused to emerge from the opening of the slit. A plural number of electrodes 2, being electrically insulated from each other, is aligned extending from the blade part to the terminal at the other side, and each terminal is connected to a print control system 8 through a conductor 9. The opposite sides are enclosed with side plates 4, ink is held in the slit 3, and ink passes through a pipe 5 connected to the side plate 4 to be continuously fed by dint of a static water pressure based on a liquid head pressure h of both ink in an ink tank 10 and an ink upheaval part 6 in the slit 3. A signal voltage is applied between the electrode 2 and a back electrode to cause ink to fly toward a recording substance 12.
