The sheath 15 in the support line portion is formed in a two-layer structure comprising an inner layer 14 and an outer layer 13A made of different resin materials, respectively. The inner layer 14 is formed by a layer having a thickness of 0.11 mm or more made of resin having a tensile elasticity of 350 MPa or more, and the outer layer 13A is formed by a layer having a thickness of 0.17 mm or more made of resin having a tensile elasticity of 250 MPa or less.

The outer jacket has tension members 12 collinearly arranged on both sides of the optical units, and release paper 13 for taking out the optical units provided above and below the optical units in parallel with a line on which the optical units and the tension members are aligned. Two notches 11 for tearing the outer jacket are provided on each of upper and lower surfaces corresponding to longer sides of the outer jacket, which are positioned such that no optical units are positioned on each line S1 connecting a pair of upper and lower notches. The structure is provided with identification means for identifying each of the plurality of optical units.

The binding members 3A and 3B are stuck to each other at an intersection T by adhesiveness that is developed by heating.
