    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional rust-preventive oil composition, which may cause trouble of rust formation because of its insufficient performance of a neutral salt water spray test (JIS K2246) though it requires no degreasing by a solvent to reduce bad influence to heat treatment. SOLUTION: The rust-preventive oil composition with kinematic viscosity of 1-100 mm 2 /s at 40°C is provided when an alcohol derivative of amine represented by a formula (1) is blended in a base oil by an amount of 0.5-25 mass% based on the total amount of the composition. In the formula (1), R 1 is an 8-24C hydrocarbon group which may be a straight/branched chain or a saturated/unsaturated group; and R 2 and R 3 may be the same with or different from each other and are each a 1-12C hydrocarbon group which may be a straight/branched chain or a saturated/unsaturated group.
