    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture imaging system switching device that effectively matches image transmitting elements of multi-functional office equipment.
      SOLUTION: When scanning is desired, the switching device 200 scans a document on a roller 210 and receives optical signals between a light beam 240 and a light beam 245. The optical signals obtained by scanning between these light beams 240 and 245 are transmitted to a reflection unit 230 through a lens 220 and reflected to a light distribution unit 270 through the lens 220, the light distribution unit 270 performs switching in accordance with the current operation demand of the switching device. When printing is performed, the switching device 200 actuates an optical transmitter 290 to transmit an optical signal to the light distribution unit 270. The light beam 260 constituted by the optical signal is transmitted to the reflection unit 230 through the lens 220. The reflection unit 230, swinging correspondingly, reflects the light beam 260 to transmit the light beam to a roller 210 through the lens 220.

    • PURPOSE: To move a projection lens in the direction of a normal line of a drum and correct the lens position by feeding the amount of variation in the diameter of the drum back to the projection lens momentarily while making a scan on the drum by luminous flux for scanning which is image-formed by the projection lens.
      CONSTITUTION: A moving table 5 moves as shown by an arrow 8 while facing a recording drum 2 through a screw rod 7 which is rotated by a subscanning motor 6. Luminous flux from a light source 9 is stopped down by the projection lens 10 to reach a film 3 and the light reflected by the film 3 is passed through the projection lens 10 again and reflected by a half-mirror 11 to reach an image sensor 12. The feed screw 15 is rotated by the rotation of a pulse motor 14 to move a support table 13 in a normal direction of the recording drum 2 through a support table arm part 13a, and the projection lens 10 fixed to the support table 13 is therefore moved to put the image of the light source 9 in focus on the film 3. Consequently, a desired image of high quality is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To correct effectively variance in the spread angle of a laser beam between solid bodies by providing a stop which has a specific diameter in the optical path of the laser beam oscillated by a semiconductor laser. CONSTITUTION:The stop 7 which is variable in diameter to almost =1.8 time as large as the incident laser beam in the direction of the joined surface is provided in the optical path of the laser beam. This stop 7 is fitted around the lens barrel of a cylindrical collimator lens 2 so that it is aligned to the laser beam.
