    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an offset printing method and a press capable of enhancing the printing accuracy. SOLUTION: A plate table 4 and a substrate table 6 are provided on a guide rail 2 on a trestle 1 in a traveling manner. A transfer mechanism unit 9 is provided corresponding to an intermediate portion of the guide rail 2. A distance measurement sensor 16 is provided at a part on the upstream side of the table traveling direction a during the transfer from the center of rotation of a blanket roll 10 of the transfer mechanism unit 9. Based on the result of measurement of the distance measurement sensor 16, the surface level positions of a plate 3 on the plate table 4 advancing below the blanket roll 10 and a substrate 5 on the substrate table 6 are measured in advance. When the blanket roll 10 is brought into contact with the plate 3 and the substrate 5, the level position of the center of rotation is controlled so as to be the predetermined target roll pressing quantity dm subtracted from the sum of the surface level position of the plate 3 and the substrate 5 measured in advance and the radius of the roll. Thus, the pressing quantity of the blanket roll 10 against the plate 3 and the substrate 5 is constantly kept to be a uniform value, and the print pressure is kept uniform thereby.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an offset printing method by which the number of printing times capable of printing by using a blanket can be increased than before while coping with the micronizing of line width of an electroconductive line section constituting an electroconductive pattern of an electromagnetic wave shield for a PDP (Plasma Display Panel) and the narrowing of a range allowable as an increment of the line width and by which productivity of the electromagnetic wave shield or the like can be increased, and to provide a method for manufacturing the electromagnetic wave shield by utilizing the offset printing method and with excellent productivity. SOLUTION: In the offset printing method, continuous printing is performed on the surface of a substrate 5 while moving a relative position where a silicone bracket 2 is allowed to abut on an intaglio plate 4 and a solvent absorber 8 at each printing time. In the method for manufacturing the electromagnetic wave shield, the electroconductive pattern is formed on the substrate 5 surface by the printing method described above and then is burned. An electric field diffused in a way that the toner particle 55 spreads as far as the corner of the recessed part 84 by controlling the potential of the electrode layer 11 is formed before the toner particle 55 developed in the recessed part 14a is transferred to the recessed part 84.
