    • A handover apparatus and a method thereof are provided to perform fast handover regardless of the mobility management protocol of a network layer. The handover method in a terminal of a wireless telecommunications system comprises the following steps of: obtaining information of peripheral networks from an MIH(Media Independent Handover) server by using an MIH layer, in case the link state with a serving network is changed; transmitting a handover start requesting message to the MIH layer of the serving network; confirming handover aid information and tunnel status information of peripheral networks received from the MIH layer of the serving network; determining a target network which the terminal is handed over by using the handover aid information, and then performing 2 hierarchy handover with the target network; and performing 3 hierarchy handover with the target network by using the tunnel status information.

    • A handover apparatus between heterogeneous networks in a wireless communication system and a method thereof are provided to integrate/use signals for the mobility management protocol with signals for the MIH(Media Independent Handover) technology, in case of performing vertical handover by using the MIH based mobility management protocol. A vertical handover method between heterogeneous networks in a terminal of a wireless communication system comprises the following steps. By using peripheral network information obtained from the MIH(Media Independent Handover) server(408) to perform handover, a care-of address is generated. Handover request information and the care-of address is transmitted to a serving network(402). Handover aiding information and care-of address information of peripheral networks received from the serving network are confirmed(421). A target network over which the terminal will be handed is determined by using the handover aiding information, and then the handover is performed by using the care-of address information.

    • A testing device for analyzing the movement of pollutants under the ground and an analyzing method thereof are provided to simulate the behavior of pollutants under the ground and recognize the simulation result without chemical analysis or electric conductivity measurement for outflow water. A testing device for analyzing the movement of pollutants under the ground includes a column(100) formed with upper and lower openings and a receiving space inside for soil sample. A resistance measuring part(200) has a pair of current electrodes mounted on an inner surface of the column and a pair of potential electrodes mounted at upper and lower parts of the current electrodes. An inflow water supply part(120) introduces pollutants via the lower opening. An outflow water obtaining part(110) obtains outflow water sample via the upper opening.
