    • An apparatus for accurately selecting, storing and dipensing multiple varieties of pills at preselected time intervals such as morning, noon, evening and night includes a separate pill container for each unique variety of pill to be dispensed. Each pill container is identified by a distinctive color or colors to indicate the time interval(s) during which the pill in it are to be dispensed. For example, each container for pills to be dispensed in the morning will be identified at least by the color red; at noon, at least yellow; in the evening, at least blue; and at night at least black. Any particular container will, therefore, be identified by at least one and not more than four colors. A pill tray includes a plurality of pill holding compartments arranged in columns identified with each of the days of the week and in row, each row representing one of the time intervals, such as morning, noon, evening and night. Each pill holding compartment in the row representing morning is colored red, the row representing noon is colored yellow, the evening row is colored blue, and the night row is colored black. The tray is loaded by putting one pill from each container in each of the compartments colored the same as one of the colors identifying that container. Sliding panels are provided as covers for each of the columns, and the patient can access the proper medication by uncovering the appropriate compartment at the appropriate time interval. For example, on Monday morning, the patient slides the "Monday" panel down far enough to uncover the Monday morning compartment, removes the pills and ingests them.

    • An electroconductive carboxylic acid functionalized monomer corresponding to Formula (I), wherein A represents a hydrogen or a carboxyl group. Polymerized monomers of Formula (I) conjugated with a biomolecule result in conjugated PEDOT polymers of Formula (III) wherein A is a hydrogen or a carboxylic acid group and B is a biomolecule selected from the group consisting of a peptide, a protein, a lipid, a carbohydrate and a polynucleotide. The biomolecule conjugated polymers can be disposed onto an electrically conductive substrate wherein the substrate has a first layer of PEDOT polymerized on a surface of the substrate and a second layer of biomolecule conjugated PEDOT polymer of Formula (III) polymerized on the first layer of PEDOT. The first and second layers form a charge transport material in electrical communication with the conductive substrate. The electrically conductive substrate further comprises a dopant.

    • A retroreflective sheeting has microretroreflective formations on one surface which are partially metallized and partially exposed to the atmosphere about them. It is produced by forming a coating on microprism surface, and this coating includes a thin metallic deposit over substantially the entire surface and a second coating material over only a portion of the surface. The coated surface is then exposed to a solvent to remove the coating from its predominant area and leave the metal deposit on only a minor portion of the area. A backing sheet is then applied over the microprisms and bonded to the retroreflective sheeting so as to leave an air interface about the predominant area of the microprisms. As a result, some light rays are retroreflected by the metal deposit and some are retroreflected by the atmosphere interface. The sheeting exhibits daytime whiteness over the bulk of its surface area.
