    • A method for determining whether a target vehicle in front of a host vehicle intends to change lanes using radar data and image data is disclosed, comprising the steps of processing the image data to detect the boundaries of the lane of the host vehicle; estimating a ground plane by determining a projected vanishing point of the detected lane boundaries; using a camera projection matrix to map the target vehicle from the radar data to image coordinates; and determining lane change intentions of the target vehicle based on a moving trajectory and an appearance change of the target vehicle. Determining lane change intentions based on a moving trajectory of the target vehicle is based on vehicle motion trajectory relative to the center of the lane such that the relative distance of the target vehicle from the center of the lane follows a predetermined trend. Determining lane change intentions based on an appearance change of the target vehicle is based on a template that tracks changes to the appearance of the rear part of the target vehicle due to rotation.

    • A method is provided for producing motif-specific, context-independent antibodies that recognize a plurality of peptides or proteins within a genome that contain the same post-translationally modified motif. The method includes the step of immunizing a host with a degenerate peptide library antigen featuring (i) a fixed target motif containing one or more invariant amino acids including at least one modified amino acid, and (ii) a plurality of degenerate amino acids flanking the motif. Motif-specific, context-independent antibodies produced by the disclosed method are also provided. The method encompasses motifs consisting of a single modified amino acid, as well as short motifs comprising multiple invariant amino acids including one or more modified amino acids, such as all or part of kinase consensus substrate motifs, protein-protein binding motifs, or other cell signaling motifs. Methods of using the antibodies, e.g. for genome-wide profiling, are also provided.

    • A system and method for detecting a target in imagery is disclosed. At least one image region exhibiting changes in at least intensity is detected from among at least a pair of aligned images. A distribution of changes in at least intensity inside the at least one image region is determined using an unsupervised learning method. The distribution of changes in at least intensity is used to identify pixels experiencing changes of interest. At least one target from the identified pixels is identified using a supervised learning method. The distribution of changes in at least intensity is a joint hue and intensity histogram when the pair of images pertain to color imagery. The distribution of changes in at least intensity is an intensity histogram when the pair of images pertain to grey-level imagery.

    • The present invention is available in hub technique field and provides a hub, which comprises a circuit board, a plug coupled to the circuit board, an upper cover and a bottom cover. The upper cover and the bottom cover cooperatively package the circuit board therein. The circuit board comprises at least one board socket facing toward the upper cover. The upper cover defines a first insertion opening disposed to be aligned with the board socket. The hub further comprises a rotating cover. The rotating cover is interposed between the upper cover and the circuit board and is coupled to and rotatable about the upper cover. The rotating cover defines a second insertion opening disposed to be aligned with the board socket. The rotating cover covers the board socket when the rotating cover is positioned at a first position. The first and the second insertion openings are in communication with each other to expose the board socket when the rotating cover is positioned at a second position. The present invention uses the rotating cover to cover the board socket when the hub is not in use, thereby preventing the hub from external corrosion. When use, the first and the second insertion openings become in communication with each other by rotating the rotating cover, thereby exposing the board socket to allow insertion of peripheral equipments. The entire process which it is easy and convenient to be operated.
