摘要： The present invention provides a metal wire rod composed of iridium or an iridium alloy, wherein the number of crystal grains on any cross-section in a longitudinal direction is 2 to 20 per 0.25 mm2, and the Vickers hardness at any part is 200 Hv or more and less than 400 Hv. The iridium wire rod is a material which is produced by a μ-PD method, and has low residual stress and which has a small change in the number of crystal grains and hardness even when heated to a temperature equal to or higher than a recrystallization temperature (1200° C. to 1500° C.). The metal wire rod of the present invention is excellent in oxidative consumption resistance under a high-temperature atmosphere, and mechanical properties.

摘要： A method for synthesizing a multilayer graphene is provided. Specifically, the multilayer graphene can be produced by performing a step of forming a catalytic metal layer on a substrate, a step of heat-treating the catalytic metal layer on the substrate while supplying methane gas, and a step of synthesizing a multilayer graphene on the heat-treated catalytic metal layer. As described above, the multilayer graphene having a large area can be grown directly on a substrate, by heat-treating the catalytic metal layer using methane gas, prior to the step of synthesis of graphene. In addition, as the the number of layer of the multilayer graphene can be controlled by changing the synthesis time of the multilayer graphene, the multilayer graphene with the desired number of layers can be easily produced.

A metal nano-particle resulting solution is prepared to mix a first metal ionic compound, a first reductant and a first capping agent, so as to form various metal nano-particles. An illumination treatment is performed on the metal nano-particle resulting solution. A portion of the metal nano-particle resulting solution after the illumination treatment is mixed with a metal nano-wire resulting solution to form metal nano-wires by using the metal nano-particles of the portion of the metal nano-particle resulting solution as seeds. The metal nano-wire resulting solution includes a second metal ionic compound, a second reductant and a second capping agent.

In some embodiments, a method for producing thinned crystalline graphite from precursor crystalline graphite using wet ball milling processes is a disclosed herein. The method includes transferring crystalline graphite into a ball milling vessel that includes a grinding media. A first and a second solvent are transferred into the ball milling vessel and the ball milling vessel is rotated to cause the shearing of layers of the crystalline graphite to produce thinned crystalline graphite.

摘要： Selective electrocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide (CO2) to carbon monoxide (CO) on gold (Au) nanoparticles (NPs) in 0.5 M KHCO3 at 25° C. Among monodisperse 4-, 6-, 8-, and 10-nm NPs tested, the 8 nm Au NPs show the maximum Faradaic efficiency (FE), up to 90% at −0.67 V vs. reversible hydrogen electrode. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations suggest that edge sites dominate over corner sites on the Au NP surface facilitating stabilization of the reduction intermediates, such as COOH1*, and the formation of CO. This mechanism is further supported by the fact that Au NPs embedded in a matrix of butyl-3methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate for more efficient COOH* stabilization exhibit even higher reaction activity (3 A/g mass activity) and selectivity (97% FE) at −0.52 V (vs. RHE). Use of monodisperse Au NPs to optimize the available reaction intermediate binding sites thus allows efficient and selective electrocatalytic reduction of CO2 to CO.
