摘要： A directional flow current transducer is used as a transient stray voltage detector including a first transducer providing an output signal indicating the magnitude of stray current carried by a new grounding wire, and a second, separate transducer providing an output signal indicating the direction of the stray voltage (for either direct and/or alternating stray voltages). The new grounding wire might be between an equi-potential plane of a concrete platform for watering livestock and a grounding bus bar for grounding the service bond of the main electrical service panel, at a significant distance from the watering platform. The output of the directional flow current transducer is recorded, stored and analyzed as a function of time. Preferably by allowing comparison with the output of a second directional flow current transducer, the system allows transient, directional and locational stray voltage/stray current problems to be better identified, understood and addressed.

In addition, the system includes a ground element disposed along a support wall of the compartment, wherein the ground element provides a fused ground connection with a load terminal of the electrical enclosure when the component unit is withdrawn from the electrical enclosure.

摘要： A contact member is disclosed for providing electrical connection between two components of a housing for electrical or electronic equipment. The contact member comprises a spring clip for mounting the contact member over an edge of the first housing component. The spring clip has integrally connected front and rear portions for gripping the first housing component therebetween. The contact member also has a spring leaf integrally connected with the spring clip. The spring leaf has a generally U-shaped cross-section defined by a first contact portion, which extends away from the spring clip to the bight of the U at an acute angle to the first component when gripped by the spring clip, to contact the second housing component in use, and a second contact portion, which extends from the bight of the U back towards the spring clip, to contact the first housing component is use. The first and second contact portions are resiliently compressible towards one another to provide a resilient connection between the two housing components. A plurality of contact members may be integrally connected side by side to form a contact strip of the desired length.

End walls receive metal inserts electrically interconnected to provide grounding when attached to grounded conduit, or plastic inserts where the load center application does not require grounded conduit. Molded end sections have formed knockouts and wire clamping tabs. A metal cover for the box is grounded to the metal inserts or to the interconnection. Additional plastic inserts in the end walls provide forwardly open pockets in which cable may be laid, and closing inserts overlying the pockets to grip the cable and retain it in the pockets.
