摘要： An apparatus includes a cell pan that supports a circuit breaker within a switchgear cell, and a lift pan that carries a circuit breaker outside of the switchgear cell. The lift pan has a track for a roller on the circuit breaker. The apparatus further includes an extension rail that interconnects the lift pan with the cell pan in an aligned position. With the lift pan in aligned position, the track on the lift pan can receive the roller upon horizontal draw-out movement of the circuit breaker from the cell pan. A latch on the extension rail has a blocking position in which it blocks the roller from rolling outward off the cell pan, and has a non-blocking position in which it does not block the roller from rolling outward off the cell pan. The latch automatically moves from the blocking position to the non-blocking position under the influence of the lift pan upon movement of the lift pan into the aligned position.

The method includes micro-texturizing the surface to promote inhomogeneity in recondensation of cutting residue, by growing deposits of the residue on the surface to create islands of residue and thus to restrict conductivity of the resulting deposit.

摘要： An electrical core comprising an assembly of power management and distribution contactors is provided. The power management contactors are attached to a first support element and the distribution contactors are carried by a second support element superimposed on the first so as to form a multilayer assembly. The distribution contactors are arranged in double symmetry about two axes perpendicular to one another. They are mechanically linked through a mechanical linkage element extending between two rows of contactors and which carries electrical connection elements connecting the contactors to an element for connecting to a power source. The contactors are assembled in modules according to their type. In particular, the management module comprises at least one modular element common to the power management contactors which is suitable for performing a given secondary function other than the function of establishing a contact.

摘要： Methods and systems for reducing exposure to live parts in a panelboard allow a circuit breaker or other branch electrical device to be safely installed and removed from the panelboard. The methods and systems provide a shutter system that operates in conjunction with the circuit breaker or other branch electrical device to automatically restrict access to the conductors in the panelboard until the circuit breaker is inserted in the panelboard. Specifically, the circuit breaker has one or more insertion keys on its casing that align with and fit into one or more keyed openings in the shutter system. When the circuit breaker is inserted into the panelboard, the insertion keys automatically force open the shutter system to allow the circuit breaker terminals to contact the conductors. Removing the circuit breaker from the panelboard automatically closes the shutter system and prevents fingers or tools from inadvertently accessing the conductors.
