摘要： A fiber pot, made of a combination of coconut fiber and natural latex rubber, is described that is able to be folded and compressed. Folding and compression of the fiber pots allows more pots to be placed within a shipping container thereby reducing shipping costs by approximately 75%. Because the folding fiber pots are made of coconut fiber and a natural latex rubber, they are 100% biodegradable and horticultural products contained within do not need to be removed prior to planting. This eliminates the root shock that horticultural products normally experience when planted in a different soil.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a recycled prepreg material in strip form, is composed of fibre sections embedded in a resin matrix. A charge of flat scraps from a prepreg starting material is supplied, recording the overall area of the scraps. Then the scraps are fragmented by cutting so as to obtain cut fragments of predetermined size. A strip of backing material and a strip of protective material are supplied. The cut fragments are then distributed in a random manner on the strip of backing material, the feeding speed of the strip of backing material being adjusted depending on the recorded area of the input scraps, so that the cut fragments form a substantially homogeneous layer. The strip of protective material is then arranged over the cut fragments distributed on the strip of backing material, and the whole assembly is then compacted so as to form a strip of recycled prepreg material.

摘要： A glass fiber reinforced article can be manufactured by: applying a mixture of glass fiber and binder over a mold surface of a first mold section to form a glass fiber matrix, wherein the binder comprises an organic solvent based binder capable of holding the glass fiber in place at room temperature; closing a second mold section over the first mold section to form a plenum between the first mold section and the second mold section, wherein the glass fiber matrix is provided in the plenum between the first mold section and the second mold section; injecting a reactive polymer forming composition into the plenum; and allowing the reactive polymer forming composition to react and form a thermoset resin. A glass fiber reinforced article is provided according to the invention.
