    • A radio communication system includes a first radio communication apparatus which transmits signals according to cyclic process numbers and a second radio communication apparatus which receives the signals and aims at reducing the possibility of misrecognition occurrence on a reception result (ACK/NACK information). The second radio communication apparatus add the second information element (Other ACK/NACK information element) indicating a reception result of a received signal of another process number to the first information element (Own ACK/NACK information element) indicating a reception result of a received signal of a certain process number, which information elements are transmitted to the first radio communication apparatus. The first radio communication apparatus judges a reception result of the transmitted signal on the basis of the first and the second information elements received from the second radio communication apparatus.

    • A battery cooling system includes a depression-shaped battery accommodating section formed at a bottom surface of a floor panel of a vehicle and dented to side of a passenger compartment so as to accommodate therein a battery. An introduction device is disposed in front of the battery in a vehicle traveling direction, to introduce travel air flow into the battery accommodating section. Here, the battery is accommodated within the battery accommodating section in a condition where a bottom surface of the battery is located at a level above or at a substantially same level as a level of a bottom surface of the vehicle which bottom surface is around the accommodating section. Additionally, the battery includes a plurality of thin cells which are electrically connected with each other, and disposed in a posture that a major surface of each thin cell extends substantially parallelly with the vehicle traveling direction.

    • In a communication system for respectively transmitting pilot signals from a plurality of base stations to a mobile station via a first channel and also for transmitting data from one base station to a mobile station via a second channel, the mobile station corrects total receive power at the time of handover by subtracting power of the data signal received via the second channel from the total receive power of the signals received from a base station in communication (serving cells) via the second channel, then corrects the total noise power based on the total receive power after the correction, and measures the communication environment between the base station and the mobile station using the power of the pilot signal received from the base station in-communication and the corrected total noise power.

    • The invention is intended to provide a small and highly reliable pressure sensor, which has a smaller number of components and can be produced by using a mold for resin molding in common. A sensor unit (11) is molded with resin and includes a semiconductor chip (1) for converting the change in pressure of a medium introduced through an introduction hole for measurement into an electric signal. A lead member (12) has one end exposed in a connector (23) and is electrically connected to the semiconductor chip (1) in the sensor unit (11) beforehand. Pressure is applied to the semiconductor chip (1) through a pipe (22). An outer case (21) is integrally formed of synthetic resin by insert molding of the sensor unit (11), the lead member (12) and the pipe (22).
