摘要： A device and method are provided for magnetizing a control magnet housed in a cylinder of an ignition lock. The cylinder is placed in a cylinder receipt member and orientated therein so that the magnet is aligned in a predetermined position. The control magnet is then saturated with a first saturating magnetic charge. The control magnet is then calibrated to a predetermined magnetic level by one or more calibrating magnetic charges, opposite in polarity to the saturating magnetic charge. The control magnet may then be checked for predetermined magnetic characteristics.

摘要： A central interlocking system for a motor vehicle performs in a normal operation all opening and closing functions. A vehicle provided with the system can be opened and locked without the operation of door closing motors. The outer and inner handles can be selectively blocked individually and jointly by a motor operated control member having two parallel control discs which cooperate with two locking levers. The control member can be released for opening of the door also in a purely mechanical way by turning a door lock keybolt with a key. The locking system has a simple construction and locking motors operating without loads.

摘要： A high security locking device is disclosed especially adapted for use as a vehicle anti-theft and passenger security system. In one embodiment, the device comprises a frame, a bolt and a motor driven bolt actuator. The bolt resists slim-jim tampering and may be instantly locked and unlocked by means of a suitable switch. In a second embodiment of the present invention, a high security locking device is disclosed which comprises a frame; a coaxial slide bolt, having an inner core and an outer sheath, slideably positioned within the frame; a cylinder assembly positioned within the frame; an outer sheath positioning means coupled to and operated by said cylinder assembly; and a motor driven bolt actuator. The outer sheath is extended and withdrawn by means of the outer sheath positioning means controlled by a keyed cylinder mounted upon the outer surface of a door and optionally by means of a latch located within the vehicle. The inner core is operated by means of a motor driven bolt actuator.

摘要： A bolt of a dead bolt lock is moveable between a locking position and an ocking position by application of a pressurized fluid. In both the locking and unlocking positions a plurality of locking balls are urged into locking engagement with a locking groove and are maintained in such locking engagement by a resiliently urged locking cam without the necessity for maintaining the pressurized fluid once the required condition is attained. Application of the pressurized fluid unlocks the bolt, displaces it to its alternate position and locks it in place.

摘要： A lock located within a door has a bolt that is extended and retracted by a double acting air cylinder. A single air line extends from the door frame and into the door where it is connected with a valve having two discharge lines that lead to opposite ends of the cylinder. To energize the cylinder and move the lock bolt, a charge of pressurized air is directed to the valve which in turn directs it to one end of the cylinder. The charge of air further causes the valve to reset itself so that the next charge will be directed to the opposite end of the cylinder. Consequently, with successive charges of air the piston rod of the cylinder and the lock bolt move in opposite directions.

摘要： A locking device for securing a door includes an air cylinder set into the floor below the door and this cylinder contains a piston which moves a locking element between retracted and extended positions. When in the retracted position, the locking element permits the door to move, but when in the extended position, the locking element projects into the bottom of the door, securing the same. As the piston moves upwardly and approaches its extended position, the piston uncovers a port in the cylinder so that high pressure air acting on the piston is directed to a switch which is connected to a signal at a remote location for indicating that the locking element is extended. The air cylinder is energized through a solenoid valve which is also in the floor and is in series with a door-actuated switch so that the solenoid can only be energized when the door is closed.

The glass closure is first broken affording access to a device, which is manually operated to release the door. The ordinary keylock, such as a padlock, which secures the door may remain in locked condition, and still the door is opened.
