    • A design tool can automatically improve timing of nets of a fully routed physical design solution. Nets of a netlist are evaluated against a plurality of re-routing criteria to identify the nets that satisfy at least one of the plurality of re-routing criteria. For each of the nets that satisfy at least one of the plurality of re-routing criteria: several operations are performed. The net is globally re-routed to determine a new global route for the net. Those of the nets that are within a given distance of the new global route are identified. The net is detail re-routed in accordance with the new global route without regard to those of the nets within the given distance of the new global route. Those of the nets within the given distance of the new global route are re-routed after completion of the detailed re-routing of the net.

    • A light guide plate for a backlight comprises a light transmissive medium. The light transmissive medium preferably has two pairs of opposing sides and a top surface. Also provided is a plurality of interleaved regions of elongated light extraction features on the top surface of the light transmissive medium. Each light extraction figure is configured to extract light injected into the light guide plate and into a direction away from the top surface of the light guide plate. Each elongated light extraction feature has a long dimension and a short dimension. The light extraction features in a first set of the regions are arranged with their long dimension orthogonal to the long dimension of the light extraction features in a second set of the regions.

    • The present disclosure provides a method for filtering an incoming call to a communication device. The communication device stores a default ring duration M and a default call frequency N. The communication device may calculate the ring duration of an incoming call, and further determines whether the ring duration reaches the default ring duration M. If the ring duration does not reach the default ring duration M, the communication device determines whether a call frequency of the incoming call reaches the default call frequency N. If the call frequency reaches the default call frequency N, the communication device blocks a phone number of the incoming call.
