    • Techniques disclosed herein are generally related to methods and devices for determining spectral samples for a finite length sequence. Some example methods include, for each time-indexed sample in a data sample sequence comprising a plurality of samples, generating a sample-specific phase value set associated with a respective time index of the sample and a set of predetermined frequencies. Some examples further include, mapping each sample-specific phase value set to a corresponding sample-specific iso-phasor set and calculating an altered iso-phasor set. Some examples include generating a rotated sample value set by unmapping the altered iso-phasor set to obtain real and imaginary components of the sample rotated by the corresponding sample-specific phase value set. Some addition examples include summing selected rotated sample values from each of the sets of rotated sample values to create a spectral sample vector having a spectral sample of the sequence and outputting the spectral sample vector.

    • Devices for use in cold-field emission and methods of forming the device are generally presented. In one example, a method may include providing a conductive base, dispersing carbon-filled acrylic onto the conductive base to form a conductive film, coupling a copper plate to a first side of the conductive film, and irradiating the conductive film. The method may further include dispersing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on a second side of the conductive film to form a substantially uniform layer of CNTs, removing excess CNTs from the second side, and curing the conductive film. In one example, a device may include a polycarbonate base, a layer of carbon-filled acrylic on one side of the polycarbonate base and a layer of irradiated carbon-filled acrylic on the other, a copper plate coupled to the carbon-filled acrylic, and a substantially uniform layer of randomly aligned CNTs dispersed on the irradiated carbon-filled acrylic.

    • Using annotated structural descriptions and binding data for two, four or more input ligand molecules known to bind to a given protein target, a profile of the ligand molecules can be created by identifying patches of ligand molecules which have similar chemical and/or stereochemical descriptions, scored with the use of a weight dataset (e.g., substitution matrix). A database containing annotated molecular descriptions can be searched according to the profile to identify, for example, additional ligands that can bind to the protein target. Information such as the input ligands, the additional ligands, and literature related to these molecules, and modeling tools can be displayed in a user interface.
