    • A sheet-fed scanner includes a housing, a scan assembly carrier, a scan assembly and a bent linking member. The scan assembly carrier is movably disposed in the housing. The scan assembly mounted in the scan assembly carrier scans a side of an original sheet in a main scan direction. The bent linking member disposed between the housing and the scan assembly carrier includes a first section and a second section. The first section extends transversally in relation to the main scan direction and interconnecting two opposed ends of the scan assembly carrier. The second section, connected with the first section, forms an angle with the first section. As one of two opposed ends of the scan assembly carrier is pushed towards the housing in a direction, the bent linking member urges the other end to move in the same direction.

    • A scanning device includes a first chassis, a second chassis and a calibration mechanism. The first chassis is for scanning one side of a document. The second chassis is for scanning the other side of the document. The second chassis is movably disposed opposite the first chassis. The calibration mechanism is for calibrating the color depth of the scan image. The calibration mechanism includes a calibration sheet and an elastic member. One end of the elastic member is fixed in the scanning device. The second chassis exerts a force on the calibration sheet to generate a relative movement between the calibration sheet and the first chassis. When the second chassis ceases exerting the force, the elastic member releases a resilient force for moving the calibration sheet to a starting position. The first chassis performs dynamic calibration by the relative movement between the first chassis and the calibration sheet.

    • The present invention provides a feeding mechanism and an image processing apparatus using the same. The feeding mechanism includes an upper casing, a lower casing disposed opposite the upper casing, a sheet tray, a main feeding roller, a sheet-separation member and a first auxiliary roller. The upper casing and the lower casing form a transporting path. The sheet tray for loading a sheet is coupled with the lower casing. The main feeding roller for feeding the sheet in a feeding direction is disposed in the lower casing. The sheet-separation member, disposed at a downstream position of the main feeding roller with respect to the feeding direction, separates the sheet from another sheet. The first auxiliary roller is disposed in the lower casing and on a lateral side of the main feeding roller for feeding the sheet in the feeding direction.

    • A scanning device capable of quickly starting scanning is placed on a base platform. The scanning device includes a housing, a glass platen, a scanning module, a control circuit and a scan-start unit. The housing has a top surface and a bottom surface. The glass platen, on which a to-be-scanned document is placed, is mounted on the top surface. The scanning module is movably installed within the housing to scan the to-be-scanned document. The control circuit controls the scanning module to proceed with a scan operation. The scan-start unit is electrically connected to the control circuit and mounted on the housing and in direct contact with the base platform. When a user applies a direct/indirect pressing force on the to-be-scanned document, the scanning module is triggered to start the scan operation.
