摘要： Disclosed is a slider mechanism for slidably opening and closing a portable communication terminal. The slider mechanism includes a first plate and a second plate slidably combined with the first plate. The second plate has a cam profile formed along siding direction. A resilience unit is mounted on the first plate to exert resilient force perpendicularly to moving direction of the second plate. A roller is rotatably attached to an end of the resilience unit. The roller runs along the cam profile while the portable terminal opens or closes. Formed at a desired position of the cam profile is a depression on which the roller rests to hold the terminal in place at closed or opened state, or at any other desired position.

摘要： Disclosed is a display tilting mechanism for a communication terminal, in which a display is rotatably connected to a supporter hingedly pivoting on a main body of the communication terminal. The mechanism includes a fixing unit fixedly installed in the supporter. A rotating unit is connected with the display and rotatably installed relative to the fixing unit. A supporting unit is connected with the fixing unit in such a way that the rotating unit is not released when it rotates on the fixing unit. A retaining unit is provided for holding the rotating unit in place at the initial state and rotated state thereof when rotated on the fixing unit. Thus, when watching a movie or the like, the image can be display in a normal orientation.

According to a first embodiment of the present invention, a hinge assembly, a first member is fixed to a side of one article so as to support the one article to horizontally rotate with respect to the other article. A second member is fixed to a side of the other article and engaged with the first member in order to support the other article so that the one article can rotate with respect to the other article. A third member provides the second member with elasticity in order for the first member is tightly engaged with the second member.
