    • An apparatus automatically feeds photosensitive printing plates having the characteristic that transport and storage are possible in a state where the photosensitive printing plates have been stacked together such that back sides of the photosensitive printing plates are brought into direct contact with photosensitive surfaces on front sides of the photosensitive printing plates. The apparatus includes: a storage member that accommodates a bundle comprising a plural number of the photosensitive printing plates stacked together without slip sheets; a takeout member that separates and takes out the photosensitive printing plates from the bundle one plate at a time; and a conveyance member that conveys the taken-out photosensitive printing plates to an exposure apparatus. According to this apparatus, the conventional configuration and process of separating, conveying, and stocking slip sheets from the photosensitive surfaces of the photosensitive printing plates can be omitted.

A cleaning means scrapes a soft metal sheet's fragment, when the fragment is stuck to the punch (2), off of the punch (2). The cleaning means scrapes the fragment by reciprocally moving the punch (2) Further provided in the unit (1) is a punch drive and control circuit (25). The circuit (25) enables the punch to be (2) to perform lost motion at predetermined time intervals. Lost motion enables the punch (2) to scrape the fragment of the soft metal sheet off a surface of the punch (2). Consequently, the fragment of the soft metal sheet does not remain stuck to the punch (2) in the punching operation.

    • A printing plate sucker capable of stably suction-adhering and sheet-feeding both a printing plate and a protective sheet simultaneously without causing wrinkling at the protective sheet during the suction-adherence and sheet-feeding. The sucker is structured by a main body portion formed of a stiff body, a skirt portion formed of a resilient body, and a spring. When a moment from a printing plate acts on the sucker during sheet-feeding, the spring resiliently deforms. Thus, the main body portion is displaced (inclined) in the moment application direction, effective weight on the sucker is reduced, and a state in which a reduced moment acts on the sucker is achieved (the moment is substantially absorbed). Furthermore, the spring which redirects the moment is structured separately from the main body portion and skirt portion. Therefore, the sucker will not be deformed, an interleaf sheet will not be hoistingly deformed, and wrinkling will not occur.
