摘要： A probe is presented that includes a light source, a coherent fiber bundle, and a pattern selector. The pattern selector is disposed between the light source and the proximal end of the coherent fiber bundle. The pattern selector includes at least one patterned zone through which light from the light source passes to project at least one fringe set onto a surface. Each of the at least one fringe sets has a structured-light pattern. The probe further includes an imager for obtaining at least one image of the surface and a processing unit that is configured to perform phase-shift analysis on the at least one image. A method for projecting a plurality of fringe sets suitable for phase-shift analysis on a surface using a probe is presented.

A retaining hole is defined in the retaining tab. The transceiver module received in the cage through the opening includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. A fixed latch disposed on the first surface mates with the retaining hole so as to lock the transceiver module in the cage. The release mechanism includes a release trigger and a release lever inflexibly connected together. The release lever is disposed between the retaining tab and the transceiver module. The release trigger abuts the second surface. When the release trigger is pressed towards the second surface, the release lever is subsequently driven to disengage the fixed latch from the retaining tab.

摘要： A new image enhancement process based on an integrated neighborhood dependent nonlinear approach for color images captured in various environments such extremely low lighting, fog or underwater. The new process is a combination of two independent processes: luminance enhancement and contrast enhancement. The luminance enhancement, also regarded as a process of dynamic range compression, is essentially an intensity transformation based on a specifically designed nonlinear transfer function, which can largely increase the luminance for dark regions of the image but only slightly change the luminance for the bright regions of the image. The contrast enhancement transforms each pixel's intensity based on the relationship between the pixel and its surrounding pixels. The output of the contrast enhancement is a power function of the luminance of the input image. The exponent of the power function is determined by the information obtained in the original luminance image, which is the ratio between the result of neighborhood averaging and the luminance of the center pixel. After contrast enhancement, the luminance image is converted back to a color image through a linear color restoration process with color saturation and hue adjustment.
