    • A feedback link which transmits a movement of a servo piston to a control sleeve of a regulator is constituted by a link lever formed of a rigid material and an expansion spring formed of a spring material. The expansion spring is formed by folding a narrow leaf spring substantially into U-shape, and provided with a pair of convexly curved plate portions extending forward from a bent portion as a base end and spread apart from each other in a forward direction. On the other hand, an indented groove which is provided on the servo piston is composed of a parallel groove portion and a tapered groove portion. The convexly curved plate portions are engaged in the parallel groove portion of the indented groove in a resilient deformed state to transmit a displacement of the servo piston from the expansion spring to the link lever.

    • An electron beam inspection apparatus in which the order of inspection is determined to shorten the inspection time is disclosed. The order of inspection is determined by minimizing the total of the moving time and the inspection time as well as by simply optimizing the covered distance. At the time of preparing a recipe to determine the inspection points and the order of inspection, the sequence of a series of inspection points sequentially inspected is changed to optimize the order of inspection. Not only the sequence which minimizes the covered distance is determined but also the order of inspection of the inspection points is optimized in accordance with the charged state, warping of the wafer, the delivery position and other situations.

    • A horizontal rotary hook for a sewing machine includes an inner bobbin case holder, an outer rotating hook made of a synthetic resin, a sliding surface formed on the rotating hook so as to be slid relative to the rotating hook with rotation of the rotating hook while an outer periphery of the bobbin case holder is placed on the rotating hook, an opening defined in an outer peripheral wall of the rotating hook so that a needle thread passes through the opening, and a beak mounted on an outer peripheral wall of the rotating hook for seizing a loop of the needle thread. The beak includes a beak peripheral wall having a distal end located at the forward side with respect to a rotation direction of the rotating hook. The distal end faces the opening. The beak further includes a beak body formed integrally with the beak peripheral wall and protruding inward from the beak peripheral wall so as to be located in the vicinity of a lower part of the sliding surface. The beak peripheral wall has an inner peripheral surface of the distal end formed with an inclined surface inclined forwardly outward with respect to the rotation direction of the rotating hook.
