    • The present disclosure introduces a method, an apparatus and memory of predicting a user behavior number of a word for reducing the amount and the complexity of operation, saving the consumption of the equipment, and improving the accuracy and reliability of predictions. In an embodiment, a historical data sequence of the user behavior number of a word is converted from a time domain to a frequency domain. Based on the converted frequency domain, each estimated cycle and its effect rate value of the historical data sequence are ascertained. If the historical data sequence is stable, an average value of user behavior numbers of some historical data points before a prediction point is calculated as a user behavior number of the prediction point. Otherwise, the user behavior number is calculated based on a selected main cycle and a selected singularity.

    • The present disclosure discloses a method for generating a search result and an information search system. The method for generating a search result includes: receiving, by an information search system, a search request; obtaining, by searching, a plurality of pieces of matching information that match the search request; obtaining a respective amount of user response associated with each of the plurality of pieces of matching information and further obtaining a total amount of user response associated with a respective categories to which each of the plurality of pieces of matching information belongs; and ranking the plurality of pieces of information to generate a search result based on the total amount of user response associated with the respective category to which each of the plurality of pieces of matching information belongs. By using the above technical scheme, a result of more rational ranking of matching information can be displayed to a user when the user performs a search, thus improving experience of the user.

    • The present disclosure describes a search method, a search apparatus and a search system. The method includes: a data rewriting system that obtains, from a database, one or more search term candidates that are relevant to a present search term. The data rewriting system retrieves properties of the present search term and the one or more search term candidates, where the properties describe respective matching results of the present search term and the one or more search term candidates. Based on the matching results, the data rewriting system determines whether or not the present search term needs to be rewritten, and rewrites the present search term based on the matching results to provide a rewritten present search term if it is determined that the present search term needs to be rewritten. A search engine performs a search based on the rewritten present search term. The disclosed method, apparatus and system avoid the approach of conducting a search based on fixed rules after the present search term is rewritten, thus reducing the probability of having ambiguity in the search process and improving the degree of search accuracy.

    • A method and apparatus for reducing the peak to average power ratio of an OFDM signal. The method involves operating on the signal only after it is converted to the time domain where the signal is compared to a power threshold and any signal above the power threshold is considered undesirable. A reduced signal is produced by reducing the magnitude to the power threshold whenever it exceeds that threshold. The delta between the original signal and reduced signal is the clipped signal. The clipped signal is multiplied by a g-function, and then subtracted from the original signal to produce a first iteration of a peak-reduced signal. The process can then be repeated using the first peak-reduced signal in place of the original signal to produce the second iteration of a peak-reduced signal. This process can be repeated each time bringing the peaks closer to the power threshold. The g-function can be defined either to allow for per-symbol cyclic signal processing or non-cyclic processing that is symbol time independent.

    • An apparatus and method for accessing data from a storage medium is disclosed. The apparatus fetches a data block from the storage medium via an accessing unit, and corrects an error of the data block by an error correction code (ECC) decoder according to an ECC of the data block. The apparatus also includes an error detection code (EDC) processor for calculating an EDC of each data sector of the data block, and a flag register for storing a flag associated with each data sector. The method includes re-fetching a data sector if the associated flag indicates the EDC of the data sector is incorrect; and bypassing a data sector if the associated flag indicates that the EDC of the data sector is correct, even though the ECC of the data block indicates that the data sector contains an error.

    • A method for accessing data from a storage medium according to requirements of a host is disclosed. The storage medium stores a plurality of data blocks that each one of them further includes a plurality of data sectors and an error correction code used for recovering errors of the data block. Each one of the data sectors further includes an error detection code used for detecting correctness of associated data sector. When a data block is verified to include at least one incorrect data sectors by means of the error detection codes, those correct data sectors rather than all the data sectors are stored into a specific position of a data buffer. The whole data block is next re-fetched and stored into the same position of the data buffer used to occupied by the data block, those stored correct data sectors are then re-fetched to overwrite corresponding ones in the data buffer. Thereafter, the incorrect data sectors are re-detected to verify their correctness again. Not only those correct data sectors will be faultless protected, but also upgrade data access performance.
