    • According to one embodiment, a television comprises a first panel, a second panel, and a cover. The first panel comprises a display surface. The second panel is laid over the first panel to cover the display surface. The cover comprises a receiver. A holding member is fixed to the edge of the second panel. The holding member comprises a protrusion protruding to the periphery of the second panel. The protrusion is butted against the receiver of the cover so that the second panel is tilted in a posture that slants the protrusion relative to the first panel. The second panel is rotated toward the first panel on the end of the protrusion butted against the receiver. As a result of this rotation, the second panel is stacked on the first panel to cover the display surface.

    • In a closed system having a large number of containers connected via pipes, a leakage of a liquid from the closed system can be more reliably detected by a convenient and inexpensive method. Provided is a cell processing device (1) comprising a plurality of processing containers (2a and 10) for processing cells, processing liquid containers (4a) for containing a processing liquid to be supplied to the processing containers (2a and 10), waste liquid containers (5a) for containing a waste liquid which has been discharged from the processing containers (2a and 10) after processing the cells in the processing containers (2a and 10), a plurality of pipe lines (14) for connecting these containers (2a, 4a, 5a, and 10), a pump (15) for supplying the processing liquid and the waste liquid via the pipe lines (14), weight meters (2b, 4b, and 5b) for weighing the processing container (2a), the waste liquid containers (5a), and/or the processing liquid containers (4a), and a leakage determination section (18) for determining the occurrence of a leakage of the processing liquid or the waste liquid based on outputs from the weight meters (2b, 4b, and 5b).

    • An automatic analyzing apparatus for measuring an object substance in a specimen includes a reaction portion for causing the substance and a reagent commensurate thereto to react on each other, a detecting portion for detecting a signal or reaction condition from the reagent for measuring the object substance, and a cleaning portion for removing the substance of the specimen or unreacted substance in the reagent or cleaning the reacted liquids which have completed the reaction. The reaction, detecting and cleaning portions are independently arranged in a single frame provided in the apparatus. The apparatus further includes a transfer portion for transferring reaction vessels in succession between the reaction, detecting and cleaning portions. With this arrangement, the automatic analyzing apparatus achieves the high speed analyzing treatment and compact construction of the apparatus.

    • A transfer unit for transferring members such as reaction vessels having an upper end opening or dispensing tips or the like includes at least one arm pivotally movable about a shaft and a holder mounted on the arm for detachably supporting the member to be transferred. The holder is provided with a rod portion having a distal end adapted to be fitted in the upper end opening of the member to be transferred, a rod holding portion slidably and elastically supporting the rod portion and a guide portion surrounding the rod portion thereabout and sliding along the axis of the rod portion to release the fitting of the member from the distal end of the rod portion. The guide portion is formed with at least two elongated apertures extending in parallel with the axis of the rod portion, and the rod portion is provided with protrusions fixed thereto and extending through the elongated apertures to regulate the movement of the guide portion. By applying such a transfer unit to a chemicobiological or immunity analyzing apparatus, the analyzing operation can be performed at a higher speed with a higher efficiency and a particularly compact analyzing apparatus is possible.
