摘要： An image display device includes: an interpolation phase generator that generates an interpolation phase on the basis of downsampling frame information representing a downsampling timing at which at least one frame image of the image signal is thinned, and an interpolation frame generator that generates an interpolation frame image corresponding to the interpolation phase. The interpolation phase generator generates the interpolation phase such that a phase distance between a first interpolation frame image from among a plurality of interpolation frame images within one period of downsampling periods, and a second interpolation frame image that follows the first interpolation frame image becomes equal to a phase distance between mutually adjacent interpolation frame images obtained when phase distances between a plurality of interpolation frame images are equalized within one period of the downsampling periods.

摘要： An exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine, which is capable of supplying a just enough amount of reducing agent to the NOx catalyst even when a catalyst is provided on an upstream side of the NOx catalyst. A catalyst and a NOx catalyst are disposed at respective upstream and downstream locations in an exhaust system, for purifying NOx and for trapping NOx under an oxidizing atmosphere and reducing the NOx under a reducing atmosphere, respectively. An air-fuel sensor is disposed between the catalyst and the NOx catalyst. A reducing agent is supplied to an upstream side of the catalyst, to control exhaust gases such that the gases form the reducing atmosphere. To determine time of termination of NOx reduction control, an amount of reducing agent supplied to the NOx catalyst is calculated, and calculation of the amount of reducing agent is started when the air-fuel ratio has converged within a vicinity of a target air-fuel ratio.

摘要： In a control device for an internal combustion engine provided with a NOx catalytic converter in an exhaust passage thereof, the progress of an undesired substance removal process is computed from the consumption of the reducing agent contained in the exhaust gas in the NOx catalytic converter. The undesired substance may include sulfur contents and NOx captured in the NOx catalytic converter. This computation may be based on the air fuel ratio of the exhaust gas upstream of the NOx catalytic converter and the estimated consumption of the reducing agent contained in the exhaust gas or on the difference between the air fuel ratios of the exhaust gas upstream and downstream of the NOx catalytic converter. In either case, the accuracy can be improved by taking into account the space velocity of the exhaust gas.

The dither circuit (19) generates the video signal in which the gray scale levels offset the dither level above and below the dithered gray scale are alternately presented when the converted gray scale level is a dithered gray scale.

The pseudo-contour noise is embodied as contour lines appearing spuriously in a motion picture displayed such that a gradation display is performed by using a plurality of weighted subfields into which one field of an input image, including a plurality of pixels, is divided. The device includes a pseudo-contour noise calculating unit in which, a logic operation is performed, for each subfield, on each pixel of at least a portion of the input image using a value of the each pixel and values of at least one of the pixels surrounding the each pixel. Further, a value corresponding to an amount of pseudo-contour noise is calculated according to a number of subfields in which a difference is detected between the value of the each pixel and the values of the at least one of the pixels surrounding the each pixel.

The weighing multiple is multiplied by the weighing value of each subfield to obtain a product capable of having a positive integer part and a fractional part. An integer value near the product is defined as a number of drive pulses for each subfield. The weighing multiple is increased as the average image brightness level decreases and as the peak image brightness level increases.
