摘要： In a transfer device, a flexible guide plate is disposed in a position upstream relative to a transfer position along a medium conveyance path, such that a first side of the guide plate faces to a recording medium being conveyed along the medium conveyance path. The guide plate has a downstream end portion that is angled by bending the guide plate. A support frame supports an upstream end portion of the guide plate and extends in a downstream direction beyond the downstream end portion to form an extension portion which is disposed opposite to a second side of the guide plate and toward which the downstream end portion extends obliquely downstream. The extension portion has a recess/hole formed in a position separated in an upstream direction from a first edge of the extension portion, to allow the downstream end portion to be moved without being blocked by the extension portion.

摘要： The present invention provides a fluorine-containing curable resin that can impart high stain resistant properties to the surface of a cured coating film and can exhibit high stain resistant properties even when curing is performed in an air atmosphere (in the presence of oxygen). It is also an object to provide an active-energy-ray-curable composition that uses the fluorine-containing curable resin and can exhibit high stain resistant properties even when curing is performed in an air atmosphere and a cured product of the active-energy-ray-curable composition. To achieve the object, there is provided a fluorine-containing curable resin including a poly(perfluoroalkylene ether) chain, a maleimide group, and a mercapto group in a structure of a urethane polymer or a polymer composed of a monomer having a polymerizable unsaturated group.

摘要： A sheet thickness detector incorporated in an image forming apparatus includes a sheet conveying member to rotate and convey a sheet in a sheet conveyance direction, a driven sheet conveying member to contact the sheet conveying member and form at least one first transfer nip therebetween in a lateral direction and to displace by an amount equivalent to a thickness of the sheet passing through the first transfer nip and rotated with the sheet conveying member in the sheet conveyance direction, a displacement member to contact the sheet conveying member and form a second transfer nip smaller than the first transfer nip in the lateral direction and to displace by an amount equivalent to the thickness of the sheet passing through the second transfer nip and supported at a support member, and a displacement amount detector to detect an amount of displacement of the displacement member.

摘要： A conductive paste having excellent printing properties, which can be used for manufacturing heat-resistant conductors and resistive elements, is described. Such a conductive paste can be obtained by preparing as a binder a polyimide precursor whose weight average degree of polymerization (n) ranges from 5 to 20, and mixing it with a solvent and a conductive powder. The polyimide precursor preferably is included in the range from 50 to 80 weight parts to 100 weight parts of the solvent. A polar solvent, or a mixed solvent including a polar solvent and a nonpolar solvent can be used. A preferable mixed solvent is a mixture of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and diethylene glycol dimethyl ether, in which the mixing volume ratio is preferably ranging from 2:8 to 9:1, more preferably, 2:8 to 3:7.
