摘要： The present invention provides antifouling coating compositions having excellent long-term storage stability and provides an antifouling coating composition that can maintain the stable dissolution and antifouling performance of a coating film without causing coating film defects such as cracks in seawater for a long term, such that an antifouling coating film having increased environmental safety can be formed. The present invention provides an antifouling coating composition containing: (A) a triorganosilyl ester-containing copolymer obtained from a mixture of (a) a triorganosilyl (meth)acrylate monomer represented by general formula (1): (here, R1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and R2, R3, and R4 are the same or different from each other and each represents a C3-6 alkyl group branched at the α-position or a phenyl group) and (b) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer copolymerizable with the triorganosilyl (meth)acrylate monomer; and (B) calcium sulfate hydrate.

摘要： Described herein are fluid complex coacervates that produce solid adhesives in situ. Oppositely charged polyelectrolytes were designed to form fluid adhesive complex coacervates at ionic strengths higher than the ionic strength of the application site, but an insoluble adhesive solid or gel at the application site. When the fluid, high ionic strength adhesive complex coacervates are introduced into the lower ionic strength application site, the fluid complex coacervate is converted to a an adhesive solid or gel as the salt concentration in the complex coacervate equilibrates to the application site salt concentration. In one embodiment, the fluid complex coacervates are designed to solidify in situ at physiological ionic strength and have numerous medical applications. In other aspects, the fluid complex coacervates can be used in aqueous environment for non-medical applications.

摘要： The invention pertains to an antifouling coating composition comprising a copper acrylate polymer, 2-(p-chlorophenyl)-3-cyano-4-bromo-5-trifluoromethyl pyrrole (tralopyril), and solvent, with the coating composition being substantially free of further biocidal compounds, wherein the copper acrylate polymer is present in an amount of 60-99 wt. % and the tralopyril is present in an amount of 0.1-30 wt. %, the weight percentages for copper acrylate polymer and tralopyril being calculated on the dry weight of the coating composition. In one embodiment, the coating composition comprises 30-70 wt % of solvent, the weight percentage of solvent being calculated on the wet weight of the coating composition. It has been found that the coating composition according to the invention combines a good antifouling performance against both weed and shell fouling, for at least 12 months, i.e. a yacht season, with a high gloss finish, and, when a suitable application method is used, a smooth and level surface.
