摘要： The present invention concern methods and apparatuses for handling public identities in an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, network. A CSCF node receives information indicating a set of distinct public identities, within a range of a wildcarded public identity, which set of distinct public identities are not in the same Implicit Registration Set (IRS) as the wildcarded public identity. The information is received from a Home Subscriber Server (HSS) node. The CSCF node stores the information indicating the set of distinct public identities, which are not in the same IRS, in the CSCF node for allowing matching of an originating request to the information indicating the set of distinct public identities, which are not in the same IRS. According to a method an HSS receives a request message from an S-CSCF. The request message includes a public identity. The HSS sends a response message including the registered wildcarded public identity to the S-CSCF if the request message includes an indication that the public identity is unregistered, the request message does not include a wildcarded public identity indication, and the public identity, included in the request message, matches with a wildcarded public identity, registered in the HSS. The S-CSCF is thus enabled to fetch a user profile using the wildcarded public identity.

At the subscriber node (700) a subscribe message is prepared (S1) comprising: first information identifying first data which the subscriber node (700) wishes to receive in a notification message in response to a change to the first data; second information identifying second data which the subscriber node (700) wishes to receive with such a notification message; and third information, different to the first information, specifying a condition to be fulfilled in relation to third data before such a notification message is sent. The first, second and third data each relate to the user and are held at the database node (900). The subscribe message is sent (S2) towards the database node (900). 摘要： In one aspect, the invention provides a method, and associated apparatus for re-registering a contact address of a user of an IP Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, network. A request for re-registration of the contact address is received at a Serving-Call Session Control Function, S-CSCF, node serving the user. After a determination that the S-CSCF has no stored information relating to the contact address, a request is sent to a Home Subscriber Server, HSS, of the user to register the contact address information. The HSS detects if the contact address information relating to the user has already been backed-up by the HSS, and notifies the node serving the user of registered contact address information backed-up by the HSS. Another aspect provides a method and associated apparatus for de-registering a registered contact address of a user of an IP Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, network.
