    • A power transfer device adapted for interconnection with the electrical system of a building includes a cabinet, a set of switches mounted to the cabinet, and wires adapted to connect the switches to an electrical distribution panel associated with a building electrical system. The power transfer device includes a first compartment and a second compartment partitioned from one another by a removable intermediate wall that slidably engages a base that defines a back wall of the cabinet. The switches are secured to a base of the cabinet and a first panel closes the first compartment and cooperates with the set of switches such that the switches are operable through the first panel and discrete switches can be removed from the cabinet when the first panel is the removed from cabinet without interfering with an orientation of other switches relative to the cabinet.

    • A power transfer device adapted for interconnection with the electrical system of a building includes a housing that includes a base having a back wall and an intermediate member that engages the base. A first housing section engages the base and the intermediate member and defines a first interior portion. A second housing section engages the base and the intermediate member and cooperates with the base to define a second interior portion.     • An electrical switch includes a housing within which a pair of spaced apart stationary contacts are located. A center contact is positioned between the pair of spaced apart stationary contacts. A movable contact member has a fulcrum section engaged with the center contact, and a pair of arms extending outwardly therefrom. Each arm carries a movable contact, and the movable contact is adapted for movement so as to selectively establish an electrical path between the center contact and one of the stationary contacts, by movement of the movable contact member about the fulcrum section. An actuator includes a spring biased plunger engaged with the movable contact member, for providing rocking movement of the movable contact member in response to movement of the actuator. The plunger includes a head portion which moves on the surfaces of the movable contact member for moving the movable contact member between ON and OFF positions. The movable contact member and the head portion of the plunger define a matching non-linear cross-sectional configuration, to positively locate the movable contact member in its OFF position, to provide consistent placement of the movable contacts relative to the stationary contacts.

    • A printed circuit is formed by conventional methods over an adhesive coating applied to a flexible high temperature withstandability disposable backing to form a flexible laminate which is positioned in a cavity of an injection mold to conform to surface variations. The printed circuit conductors are surrounded on three sides by molten plastic material injected into the mold cavity to embed the conductors in the respective surfaces of the molded plastic article, which surfaces are non-coplanar and adjoining and the conductors are continuous from one surface to the other. The bond strength of the adhesive is preferably high with regard to the backing and low with regard to the printed circuit conductors to permit adhesive and backing to be peeled away after molding, thereby providing a three diemensional printed circuit in, for example, a recessed area of a molded plastic housing part of electrical apparatus.
