    • An inverter apparatus is composed of an insulated metal substrate, a conductive stud, a printed circuit board, a conductive spacer, and a bus bar. An inverter output stage is mounted on the insulated metal substrate. The conductive stud is coupled to a main surface of the insulated metal substrate, and electrically connected with the inverter output stage. The printed circuit board is supported by the stud. The stud is coupled on the rear surface of the printed circuit board. Provided on the main surface of the printed circuit board is a circuit connected to the inverter output stage. The conductive spacer is coupled on the main surface of the printed circuit board, and electrically connected with the stud. The bus bar is coupled to the spacer.

    • A propulsion motor control apparatus for a battery vehicle including; a steering angle detection device for detecting a steering angle subtended between a common axis of two front wheels, and an axis of a rear wheel. Also included is a ratio computing device for computing a ratio between a distance between an intersection point of the two axes and a front wheel (outer wheel) on a side further from the intersection point, and a distance between the intersection point and a front wheel (inner wheel) on a side closer to the intersection point, based on the steering angle, a function determining device for determining a motor rotation speed/current command value function for the inner wheel based on a motor rotation speed/current command value function for the outer wheel and the obtained ratio, and a control device for individually controlling the respective propulsion motors for the two front wheels based on the two functions.

    • An electric vehicle drive DC-DC converter and an electric vehicle are provided in which the electric vehicle drive DC-DC converter is constructed by connecting a plurality of DC-DC converter units in parallel, and in which a smoothing capacitor is allowed to be reduced in size thereof so that the DC-DC converter unit can be constructed in a small size, and electric power required by the electric vehicle can be coped with by only increasing the number of DC-DC converter units. Each of the DC-DC converter units includes: a coil having both ends thereof being connected to a DC power source and an electric vehicle drive source (motor); and a drive element which is connected in parallel to the electric vehicle drive source and driven in response to a signal supplied from a control circuit, the drive element having combined therewith a load current commutation diode. A single smoothing capacitor is connected in parallel to the electric vehicle drive source so that the respective drive elements of the plurality of DC-DC converter units are driven by the control circuit at different timings.
