摘要： A constant mesh type transmission for a straddled vehicle includes an input shaft; a plurality of drive gears; an output shaft; a plurality of driven gears; and a gear stage setting mechanism, including a ratchet mechanism. The ratchet mechanism includes a n-th speed accelerating pawl, a n-th speed decelerating pawl, a (n+1)-th speed accelerating pawl, a (n+1)-th speed decelerating pawl, a rotary cam, and a plurality of sliders. The rotary cam has a plurality of cam portions on an outer peripheral surface thereof which position the respective guide object parts such that the plurality of sliders raise an accelerating pawl and a decelerating pawl corresponding to a selected gear stage and lower an accelerating pawl and a decelerating pawl corresponding to a non-selected gear stage.

摘要： A shift mechanism that provides a shift mechanism for enabling smooth gear shifting by a transmission, and a vehicle equipped therewith. With this mechanism, a shift drum, to which shift forks are connected via grooves on an outer periphery, is held every predetermined rotation angle. When differences are produced in the degree of rotation between a third rotating member that rotates by motor rotation and a second rotating member that rotates in accordance with the third rotating member, bias is accumulated in a torsion spring. Bias that is accumulated is released when the rotation angle of the third rotating member equals or exceeds a predetermined angle of rotation, rotating a first rotating member via a second rotating member, and rotating the shift drum quickly.

摘要： A transmission apparatus mounted on a vehicle has a front-wheel speed sensor for sensing a rotation speed of a front wheel. A control unit has a ratio-change correction part that determines a correction in transmission control of the transmission apparatus using the rotation speed of the front wheel sensed by a front-wheel speed sensor. The control unit limits execution of the correction under a condition that an external device is connected to a connector. Thereby, the execution of the correction based on the rotation speed of the front wheel without a worker's intention during driving on a chassis dynamo may be suppressed.
