摘要： In an inhalation system (1) for inhalation of a dosing aerosol (6′), comprising: a dosing device (6) which delivers the aerosol (6′) a container (2) in which one or more chambers (4, 5) separated from one another and connected together during inhalation by means of one or more valves (8) are provided, with an inlet opening (7) emerging into the first chamber (4), into which opening the dosing device (6) is inserted, with the second chamber (5) having a first passage opening (9) which interacts with the respiratory openings of a human being (20), with the second chamber (5) having a second passage opening (10) that is connected to the surrounding air (15) and through which a positive pressure in the second chamber (5) can escape into the surrounding air (15) during exhalation, a simple and hygienic application of the inhalation arrangement (1) should be guaranteed and the aerosol flow should have a linear and rotating motion induced in it during the inhalation procedure. This is achieved in that the valve (8) is formed from an elastically deformable material, preferably silicone, that the valve (8) has a ring-shaped circumferential collar (21) that is fixed to the container (2), at least one slot-shaped notch (22) is worked into the valve (8) which is configured as a spiral running from inside to outside, that during inhalation, the valve (8) acts as a barrier to the flow of the aerosol (6′) flowing through it, as a result of which a linear motion and a spiral-shaped flow direction (11) along and about the longitudinal axis (3) of the container (2) is imposed on the aerosol (6′), channelling it into a three-dimensional spiral

摘要： A nebulizer assembly for a respiratory device is provided having a housing defining a chamber. The housing also has a nebulizer port configured to receive a nebulizer to discharge atomized medication into the chamber. An outlet of a handle is coupled to the inlet of the housing. A hose is coupled to an inlet of the handle. A patient interface is coupled to the outlet of the housing. Air flows from the hose to the patient interface via the handle and the housing. The air mixes with the atomized medication within the chamber.

摘要： A device for minimizing obstruction in a medical device that carries fluids includes a housing defining a channel configured to receive and secure a section of the medical device such that the section of the medical device extends coaxially with a central longitudinal axis of the channel. The device also includes components supported in the housing, including a motor, wherein the components are configured to be operated to impart motion to the housing and the attached medical device. The motion is configured to produce oscillatory motion of a frequency sufficient to concentrate shear stresses in a fluid boundary layer adjacent an inner wall of the medical device. The housing and the components supported in the housing are configured and arranged so that a device center of mass lies along or near the longitudinal axis of the channel.

摘要： Methods and devices for delivering a dose, such as a medicament, for inhalation. A dose may be stored by a delivery device and dispersed and delivered in a metered fashion to a subject, such as by the subject inhaling via a mouthpiece of the delivery device. One or more chambers of the device may have a toroidal shape and may be arranged to be selectively opened for fluid communication with a flow path of the delivery device, such as by sliding the chamber relative to a portion of the flow path. The flow path may include a restriction that permits air to bypass the chamber, and/or the chamber may be arranged so that fluid entering the chamber interacts with fluid exiting the chamber so as to enhance dispersion of the dose.

摘要： A dry powder delivery device may be configured to provide micronized dry powder particles to airways of a user. The device may include a cylindrical container delimiting a chamber containing at least one magnetically-responsive object, a motor external to said chamber, a magnet external to the chamber and rotatably coupled with the motor, and an outflow member configured to direct airflow to a user. The magnetically-responsive object may be coated with micronized dry powder particles, and the motor may be operable to rotate the magnet about an axis. Rotation of the magnet creates a magnetic field that causes the magnetically-responsive object to move in response to the magnetic field and collide with a side wall of the container to deaggregate the dry powder particles and aerosolize the dry powder in the chamber.

摘要： A fluid path set includes a first fluid line having a proximal end fluidly connectable to a source of a first fluid and a second fluid line having a proximal end fluidly connectable to a source of a second fluid. A flow mixing device is in fluid communication with distal ends of the first and second fluid lines.
