摘要： A processing apparatus includes a chuck table for holding a plate-like workpiece under suction. A suction unit is connected to the chuck table, and a processing unit is configured to process the workpiece while supplying processing water to the workpiece. The suction unit includes a first suction source, a first pipe providing fluid communication between the first suction source and the chuck table, a separator arranged in the first pipe, for separating a gas and a liquid drawn in from the chuck table, and a water discharging unit configured to discharge the liquid separated by the separator. The water discharging unit includes a second suction source, a second pipe providing fluid communication between the second suction source and a water discharge port of the separator, and a check valve arranged in the second pipe, for preventing a fluid from flowing from the second suction source to the separator.

摘要： A cutting fluid tank includes: a fluid ejection apparatus configured to eject fluid toward cutting fluid containing chips and to be capable of varying at least one of a direction and a position of ejection with time in an interior of a tank body configured to store the cutting fluid containing the chips flowed from a work portion of a machine tool. The fluid ejection apparatus includes an ejection head having an ejection port rotatable about an axis of rotation. The ejection port is at a twisted position with respect to the axis of rotation, and the ejection head is rotated by a reaction force of the fluid ejected from the ejection port. Part of the cutting fluid stored in the cutting fluid tank is used as the fluid to be ejected from the ejection port.

摘要： A magnetic inline filter is provided. A piston rod of a fluid cylinder is retracted to the top to locate an inner circumferential surface side magnet and an outer circumferential surface side magnet in filtration positions opposed to a space. In this state, a solenoid of a changeover valve is actuated to shut off a discharge port. A coolant is introduced into the space from an introduction port in the vicinity of the lower end of an outer pipe. Since a magnetic field in a radiation direction is intense, chips in the coolant are attracted to wall surfaces on both sides of the space and the coolant is filtrated. When the supply of the coolant is continued, the chips attracted to the wall surfaces are accumulated and bridged. As a result, since the coolant passes through gaps of the bridged chips, it is possible to perform precise filtration.

C. or lower is blasted to a processing spot during processing, while a pollution-less fine mist of an oil, such as Accu-Lube, is supplied to the surface of a grinding stone in a small amount, or with a processing tool which has been treated in a fixed lubrication treatment. The apparatus includes a cooler for cooling a temperature of a filtered, compressed, dry air to minus 1.degree. C. or lowers a cold air blasting unit for supplying the cooled dry air to a processing spot, and a device which supplies a mist of a pollution-less oil, such as a vegetable oil or the like, to the processing spot directly or indirectly by the help of the processing tool.
