摘要： A polyethylene terephthalate resin which is obtained by melt polymerization at a reduced pressure or in an inert gas atmosphere and has the following properties (A) to (F): (A) the intrinsic viscosity [η] is 0.4-2.5 Dl/g; (B) the content of carboxy groups present at polymer ends is 30 meq/kg or lower; (C) the acetaldehyde content is 10 ppm or lower; (D) a hexafluoroisopropanol solution of the resin, when analyzed by the transmission method, has a hue which has an L value of 99 or larger and a b value of 0.4 or smaller; (E) the Mw/Mn is 1.8-2.3; and (F) the cyclic trimer content is 5 wt. % or lower.

摘要： A simple injection molding machine structure including a stationary platen, a movable platen, and an injection unit, and an injection method for the simple injection molding machine structure are provided. The stationary platen and the movable platen each carry a mold core for defining a mold cavity. The movable platen is movable freely relative to the stationary platen. The injection unit is disposed on the movable platen and includes an injection barrel, a heating member, a screw rod and a driving member. The screw rod is coupled to the driving member, extended into, and received in the injection barrel. The heating member is disposed on the injection barrel. The screw rod pressurizes, injects, and delivers molten plastic. The simple injection molding machine operates by controlling the speed of advancement of the screw rod to stabilize pressure and thus allow the molten plastic to take shape easily.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for producing polyesters with a reduced content of free acetaldehyde from terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol via a catalyzed polycondensation in the melt and also the use of this method. The method is based thereby on the usage of highly active polycondensation catalysts, on the deactivation of these catalysts by the addition of phosphorous-containing inhibitors and the addition of acetaldehyde-bonding substances. The entire polycondensation is thereby implemented at temperatures beneath 280° C.

摘要： A process for producing polyester articles, which generates little or no polyester waste. The process provides esterification or transesterification of one or more dicarboxylic acids or their dialkyl esters, polycondensation to produce a high molecular weight polyester, and molding or shaping of the polyester for produce the desired product. Scrap produced during the molding process is recycled back to the esterification or transesterification or polycondensation portion of the process. Optionally, the scrap may also be recycled to intermediate steps prior to the molding operation.
