摘要： This invention relates to a water-soluble film (WSF) system with embedded/entrapped water-soluble films (WSF). More particularly, the invention relates to a WSF system with actives embedded/entrapped therein such as to provide precise and desired release of actives there from and its method of manufacturing for diverse applications, in which a variety of substances such as detergents, enzymes, softeners, perfumes, pesticides, fungicides, active ingredients, dyes, pigments, hazardous chemicals, active agents for cleaning laundry, dishes, floorings, walls, furniture, fluffs, pulp, etc., and the like can be so embedded/entrapped for such purpose. The invention further discloses novel online and offline process for the manufacture of such multi-layered WSF with or without liners and of desired shapes to selectively entrap interacting/non-interacting materials and their combinations. The process also provides options for the use of a wide range of raw materials, liners such as paper, film, foil, fabric, etc.

摘要： Cast-film process for making a fiber-reinforced film is disclosed. The process includes providing at least a first thermoplastic resin, melting the at least first thermoplastic resin, extruding the at least first thermoplastic resin through a first extension die to form a first thermoplastic film, providing at least a second thermoplastic resin, melting the at least second thermoplastic resin, extruding the at least second thermoplastic resin through a second extension die to form a second thermoplastic film, transporting the first and second thermoplastic films along respective casting rollers, and introducing a plurality of fibers between the first and second thermoplastic films so as to form a fiber-reinforced film having a thickness between about 0.2 mil to about 2.0 mils and having a first thermoplastic layer, a second thermoplastic layer, and a plurality of fibers dispersed therebetween. Cast-film process for making a fiber-reinforced bag is also disclosed.

摘要： A method of producing a stretch film includes at least: extruding a first random copolymer polypropylene (RCPP) resin from a first extruder at a first temperature to at least one primary channel inside of a feedblock; extruding a second RCPP resin from a second extruder at a second temperature to at least one secondary channel, wherein said second temperature is greater than said first temperature; combining the first RCPP resin and the second RCPP resin to create a layered stream using a combining adapter disposed in communication with the feedblock; passing said layered stream from the combining adapter to a die; and passing the layered stream through said die to a casting unit. A multi-layered stretch film includes at least one nanolayer section, the nanolayer section comprising alternating substantially adjacent layers of a first random copolymer polypropylene (RCPP) resin and a second RCPP resin.

The Young's Modulus of the second polymer is lower than the Young's Modulus of the first polymer. The tip structure for lithography includes a substrate, and a layered structure including a tip having an apex of a first polymer and a base of a second polymer. The first polymer is less resiliently deformable than the second polymer.

The at least one thermoplastic resin is extruded through an extension die to form a film bubble. A plurality of fibers is introduced inside of the film bubble. The fibers are distributed inside of the film bubble. The film bubble is collapsed after introducing the plurality of fibers so as to form a fiber-reinforced film. The fiber-reinforced film has a first thermoplastic layer, a second thermoplastic layer, and a plurality of fibers dispersed therebetween. The film may be formed in a bag.

摘要： Polyurethane shapes containing a core layer of a water soluble polymer such as polyethylene oxide (PEO) are produced by casting onto a surface an aqueous mixture containing a pre-polymer of a hydrophilic polyurethane as a first layer of uncured polyurethane, covering the uncured first layer with release paper and compressing the layer, uncovering the uncured first layer and distributing PEO on the uncured surface, applying a second layer of uncured polyurethane on top of the PEO while the polyurethane is still uncured, then covering the resulting mass with release paper and compressing it to form an integrated, layered shaped article containing a core region enriched in PEO that when wetted releases PEO over an extended period. The second layer is applied by adhering about one-half of the first uncured foam layer to the release paper as the first uncured layer is uncovered and then recombining the adhered material on top of the PEO and further compressing the resulting mass to produce an integrated, layered shaped article. The second layer can be applied, alternatively, by independently casting a second layer of uncured polyurethane foam after distributing the PEO and then compressing and curing. The PEO containing shapes are useful in making improved comfort strips for wet shaving razors. Shape products of the process where the core region contains other specified working ingredients are useful in applications including bandages and wound dressings, cosmetic sponges, cleaning and polishing sponges, dry cleaning and anti-static sheets, and in household, industrial and environmental clean up and waste recovery.

摘要： In a joining section there are columnar distribution pins, on whose periphery a groove is formed. A size of the groove is strictly determined. A first dope and a third dope are fed through the respective grooves such that a width of each dope is controlled. Thereafter, the surface and third dopes are joined with an second dope. Thus a multi-layer stream is obtained and cast through a die lip of a casting die for forming a casting film having a multi-layer structure. The casting film is dried and thus a multi-layer film is obtained.

摘要： The invention comprises a method for applying a curable resin, such as a photosensitive resin, to a substrate such as a papermaker's dewatering felt. The method comprises the steps of providing a substrate; providing a curable liquid resin; providing a second material different from the curable liquid resin; applying the second material to the substrate to occupy at least some of the voids in the substrate intermediate the first and second surfaces of the substrate; applying the curable resin to the substrate; curing at least some of the resin to provide a resin layer on the substrate; and removing at least some of the second material from the substrate, wherein at least some of the second material is removed from the substrate after applying the curable resin to the substrate.
