摘要： Disclosed is a method for driving a processor of an electronic box mounted on a vehicle wheel, transmitting operating parameters of the wheel for implementation of a specific application by a central unit. This includes defining, for each specific application, the physical quantities liable to affect the relevance of the operating parameters, and ranges of measured values corresponding to conditions for obtaining relevant values of the operating parameters. Also included is a procedure for acquiring and transmitting the operating parameters consisting of a succession of transmission windows, during each of which the physical quantities selected for the application are measured, it is checked whether the conditions for obtaining relevant values of the operating parameters are met. If so, at least one value of each parameter is acquired and transmitted, while assigning to this value a datum attesting to the relevance of the latter, and then the transmission window is closed.

摘要： In a wheel position detector for a vehicle, a transmitter on each wheel repeatedly transmits a data frame containing identification information when an angle of the transmitter reaches a transmission angle. A receiver for receiving the frame is mounted on a body of a vehicle and performs wheel position detection based on the frame to specify a target wheel from which the frame is transmitted. The receiver acquires a tooth position of a gear rotating with a corresponding wheel when receiving the frame and sets a variation allowable range based on the tooth position. The receiver specifies the target wheel by determining whether the tooth position falls within the variation allowable range. The transmitter changes the transmission angle at a predetermined time interval.

摘要： A tire position determination system includes a position determination unit that determines a tire position by obtaining axle rotation information when each of tire pressure transmitters reaches a specific position on a tire rotation path of a corresponding tire and specifying a tire that rotates in synchronism with the axle rotation information of each axle. A cycle calculator calculates a rotation cycle of each axle based on the axle rotation information. A validity determination unit determines validity of accuracy of gravity sampling based on the rotation cycle, a gravity sampling interval time of a gravitational component acting on each tire pressure transmitter, and a gravity sampling frequency in the rotation cycle. The position determination unit determines the tire position based on a determination result of the validity determination unit.

The transmission-side control section is configured to cause a position detecting signal and an instruction signal to be transmitted from the transmission section to the receiver. The position detecting signal is configured to cause the reception-side control section to identify the position of the tire condition detecting apparatus. The instruction signal is transmitted before the position detecting signal is transmitted and instructs the reception-side control section to start obtaining the RSSI.

The receiver changes an allowable range of variability in accordance with a road surface condition indicated by a degree of road surface roughness every time the frame is received, and sets the allowable range of variability wider for a road surface that is rough than for a road surface that is not rough.
