摘要： An electromechanical brake actuator (100) is configured to move a service-brake rod (104) between a full-braking position (BP) and a drive position (DP). A parking-brake rod (112) is coupled to the service-brake rod and is movable between a first position (P1) for locking the service-brake rod (104) in the full-braking position (BP), and a second position (P2) where the service-brake rod (104) is free to be moved. A spring element (116) coupled to the parking-brake rod is arranged so that in a fully-compressed state (CS) the parking-brake rod is in the second position, and in a fully-released state (RS) the parking-brake rod is in the first position. A hydraulic unit (118) is operatively coupled to the parking-brake rod and configured, based on a parking-brake signal, to lock the parking-brake rod or allow a release of the spring element to the fully-released state.

摘要： A vehicle includes a chassis, a tractive element coupled to the chassis, and a parking brake system. The chassis includes at least one of a transmission or a structural frame. The parking brake system includes a parking brake configured to brake the tractive element when engaged. The parking brake is configured to be disengaged to permit rotation of the tractive element in response to the parking brake receiving a fluid. The parking brake system includes a fluid supply configured to supply the fluid to the parking brake to disengage the parking brake. The fluid supply is configured to stop supplying the fluid in response to a component of the vehicle ceasing operation. The parking brake system includes a pump coupled to the chassis and configured to supply the fluid to the parking brake at least when the component of the vehicle is not operating.

The braking force of the at least one brake cylinder (62a, 62b) can be set by feeding or removing pressure medium to or from the latter via the brake control valve (56).

摘要： A single chain drive is disclosed that includes a drive sprocket, a drive motor, idler sprockets, front and rear axle sprockets, and a single chain. The drive motor rotates the drive sprocket, which rotates the idler sprockets, which rotate the single chain, which rotates the front and rear axle sprockets. The drive sprocket can be a lantern gear with covers, and pins that connect the cover, and the idler sprockets can have teeth that mesh with the pins between the covers of the drive sprocket. A drive shaft can couple the drive motor and drive sprocket, and an integrated parking brake can prevent rotation of the drive shaft when engaged. A chain case with lubricant can enclose the drive sprocket, idler sprockets, chain, and axle sprockets. The drive sprocket, idler sprockets and axle sprockets can be sized to provide a desired gear reduction.

The manually operated valve may be connected to the fluid reservoir either directly or indirectly through the electrically operable valve, when its position blocks a direct fluid connection with the fluid reservoir. The electrically operated valve controls activation or deactivation of the actuator except when the mechanically operated valve is in an unblocked position and overrides the electrically operated valves control of the actuator.

The brake actuator may also include a primary piston movable between a first position at which the braking mechanism is actuated to an engaged state and a second position at which the braking mechanism is actuated to a disengaged state. In addition, the brake actuator may include a secondary piston at least partially housed within the secondary chamber that is configured to apply a force against the primary piston when fluid is supplied within the secondary chamber in order to move the primary piston from the first position to the second position.
