摘要： Impure gaseous hydrogen chloride from organochlorosilane hydrolysis is freed of impurities by first scrubbing with an organochlorosilane, which may be the same or different from the organochlorosilane(s) hydrolyzed, and then further scrubbing with chloromethane. The purified gaseous hydrogen chloride is preferably used in chlorosilane synthesis.

The DCE plant has a high boiler column operating at superatmospheric pressure, and heat is removed from an overhead stream and used to supply heat to other portions of the process.

摘要： Disclosed is process for the production of (E) 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (HCFO-1233zd(E)) by conducting a continuous reaction without the use of a catalyst. Also disclosed is an integrated system for producing hydrofluoro olefins, particularly 1233zd(E). The manufacturing process includes six major unit operations: (1) a fluorination reaction of HCC-240fa (in continuous or semi-batch mode) using HF with simultaneous removal of by-product HCl and the product 1233zd(E); (2) recycle of unreacted HCC-240fa and HF together with under-fluorinated by-products back to (1); (3) separation and purification of by-product HCl; (4) separation of excess HF back to (1); (5) purification of final product, 1233zd(E); and (6) isomerization of by-product 1233zd(Z) to 1233zd(E) to maximize the process yield.

摘要： A method of processing waste iron chloride solution including ferrous chloride, ferric chloride or mixtures thereof and optionally free hydrochloric acid, includes concentrating waste iron chloride solution into concentrated liquid having iron chloride concentration of at least 30%-40% by weight; optionally oxidizing ferrous chloride in the concentrated liquid from the concentration step to ferric chloride providing liquid containing ferric chloride; hydrolyzing the liquid containing ferric chloride from the oxidation step at 155-350° C., maintaining the ferric chloride concentration at least at 65% by weight, generating steam containing hydrogen chloride and liquid containing ferric oxide; separating ferric oxide from the liquid containing ferric oxide in the hydrolysis step; condensing steam containing hydrogen chloride in the hydrolysis step, recovering hydrochloric acid at a concentration of at least 10%-15% by weight; and using condensation energy of the hydrogen chloride containing steam in the recovery step to heat the concentration step performed under reduced pressure.

摘要： A particulate inorganic mixed oxide comprising: aluminum; zirconium; cerium; and first and second additional elements each selected from the group consisting of rare earth elements other than cerium and alkaline earth elements, whereina content of aluminum in the inorganic mixed oxide is 60 to 90 at %, in terms of element content, relative to a total amount of elements which form cations in the inorganic mixed oxide ; a content of cerium in the inorganic mixed oxide is 0.4 to 50 at %, in terms of element content, relative to a total amount of zirconium and cerium in the inorganic mixed oxide; a content of a total amount of the first and second additional elements is 1 to 12 at %, in terms of element content, relative to the total amount of the elements which form cations in the inorganic mixed oxide; at least 80% of primary particles of the inorganic mixed oxide have a particle diameter of 100 nm or less; at least a part of the primary particles have an enriched surface region where a content of the second additional element is locally increased in a surface layer portion thereof; and an amount of the second additional element in the enriched surface region is 0.1 to 0.95% by mass, in terms of oxide, relative to a whole amount of the inorganic mixed oxide.
