摘要： A method of manufacture of products from geopolymer composite shaped in a mold which is filled by casting of geopolymer composite in form of a precursor and after its hardening the casting is taken out from the mold and the casting surface is provided with a metallic layer. Before metal-plating casting surface with absorption capacity greater than 5% is treated to make it chemically stable so that pH of a leachate from 100 g of the bulk product in 1000 g distilled water after 24 hours does not exceed 9. In order to reduce the absorption capacity of the casting surface it is penetrated with polymer substances or particles of a non-porous filler are added into the geopolymer composite in the precursor state. The metallic layer on the casting surface is made by a method from the group of methods that include vacuum deposition, vacuum sputtering, galvanization, cold metal spraying, dip coating in melted metal, plasma spraying of melted metal, deposition of metal from metal salt solution or colloid solution or sintering of powder metal.

摘要： A piston for an internal combustion engine and method of construction thereof are provided. The piston includes an upper crown formed at least in part by a first metal material and a thermally insulating insert. The upper crown has an upper wall forming an upper combustion surface and a ring belt region. The upper combustion surface is formed at least in part by the thermally insulating insert. The thermally insulating insert has a base surface with pores extending upwardly therein. The first metal material is infused and solidified in the pores, with the first metal material forming a first bonding surface. The piston further includes a body portion formed from a second metal material. The body portion provides pin bosses having coaxially aligned pin bores and diametrically opposite skirt portions. The body portion has a second bonding surface bonded to the first bonding surface of the first metal material.

The nanophase regions may be formed by thermal treatment of a glass-ceramic substrate containing the corresponding metal oxide. Single layer and double layer graphene are prepared on the modified glass-ceramic substrate in a vacuum chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process from hydrocarbon precursors. The graphene-coated glass-ceramic substrate is electrically conductive.

The surface carving is by a sandblasting process, which has long fragrance diffusing time and ability to change fragrance according to circumstances, so as to achieve an object of repeatedly using which is economical and environment-friendly, and prevent the perfume from contacting with the skin or clothes directly. The present invention combines the ornament and accessory with fragrance well, and provides that a user has carryon fragrance as wearing the ceramic ornament and accessory according to the present invention, so as to avoid spraying perfume on a body thereof.

摘要： A method is described for producing layered structures comprising a porous metal layer and a ceramic containing layer comprising wherein a porous green ceramic layer is provided, and thereafter loose metal particles are applied to the green ceramic layer before sintering. In one embodiment, the green ceramic layer, after application of the loose metal particles, is dried to drive off the solvent and cause interpenetration of the metal particles. In another embodiment loose particles can be removed from the composite such as by shaking, and the green ceramic/loose metal particles composite compressed to cause further interpenetration of the metal particles prior to sintering.

摘要： According to typical inventive practice, precursor particulate is pressed and/or caste and/or molded and/or machined, thereby producing a porous green body of a desired shape. A gas is brought into contact with the porous green body so that, via reaction bonding between the gas and the porous green body, the porous green body becomes a porous reaction-bonded ceramic preform, geometrically corresponding to the porous green body. One or more infiltrant materials, at least one of which is glass or polymer, is/are caused to infiltrate the pores of the RB ceramic perform. The infiltrants are selected from glass, polymer, and metal. The infiltrated preform is permitted to cool and solidify, resulting in an embodiment of an inventive non-ceramic-infiltrated reaction-bonded-ceramic structure. Because of their potential material attributes such as strength, energy dissipation, and low density, the present invention's non-ceramic-infiltrated reaction-bonded-ceramic structures are especially favorable for inclusion in personal/personnel ballistic armor systems.
