摘要： A toothed belt is provided with toothed portions arranged at a regular pitch in a belt length direction. A belt body is made of a rubber composition containing, as a main ingredient of a rubber component, ethylene-α-olefin elastomer having an ethylene content of 44% by mass to 66% by mass. A reinforcing fabric is adhered to a surface of the belt body on a toothed side, with a reinforcing fabric adhesion coat interposed between the reinforcing fabric and the belt body. The reinforcing fabric adhesion coat is made of a rubber composition containing hydrogenated nitrile-butadiene rubber as a main ingredient of a rubber component.

摘要： Embodiments provide a method for producing a film including a thermoplastic resin composition, the method including: (1) a step of subjecting a thermoplastic resin composition to preliminary heating at 100-250° C.; (2) a step of subjecting a first roller and second roller of a calender roll film-forming apparatus to pre-heating; and (3) a step of introducing the thermoplastic resin composition, which has been subjected to preliminary heating in step (1), into the clearance between the first roller and second roller, which have been pre-heated in step (2), and continuously winding a molten film of the thermoplastic resin composition on the first roller. According to at least one embodiment, the rotational speed of the first roller is higher than the rotational speed of the second roller. According to at least one embodiment, the thermoplastic resin composition contains (A) 100 parts by mass of a thermoplastic resin, (B) 1-60 parts by mass of carbon nanotubes and (C) 1-100 parts by mass of at least one type of material selected from the group consisting of acetylene black and graphite.

摘要： This disclosure is directed to nanocomposite compositions that are suitable for air bladders, innertubes, innerliners and other desirable air-retention articles. In particular, this disclosure is directed to compositions that include the nanocomposite, the nanocomposite made in such that its air-retention properties are much improved over what is known, while maintaining desirable elasticity and processability. In a particular aspect, an air-retention article such as an innerliner if formed by first contacting a desirable elastomer, especially a functionalized poly(isobutylene-co-p-methylstyrene) elastomer, with one or more layered fillers such as a clay described further below, and also contacting one or more processing aids, and one or more solvents to form an nanocomposite composition. The nanocomposite composition is then precipitated to form the solid nanocomposite composition which can be dried and further blended with other suitable ingredients such as, for example, curative agents, thus forming an innerliner suitable for a tire or other article.

摘要： A process for producing a nanocomposite of a halogenated elastomer and an inorganic, exfoliated clay includes the in-situ protonation of a modifier, which may be an alkylamine, arylamine or an alkylarylamine. This process can be integrated with a polymer halogenation process. The nanocomposite so formed has improved air barrier properties and is suitable for use as a tire innerliner or innertube.
