摘要： Luminescent compositions are provided having improved color intensity and articles incorporating said luminescent compositions as security taggants, for example as anti-counterfeiting components in pharmaceutical packaging applications, or as aesthetic colorants that are generally usable in any application where luminescent coloration is desired. The luminescent compositions incorporate a particulate fluoropolymer that is blended with one or more luminescent pigments and/or luminescent dyes. These components are provided in a liquid medium in which the fluoropolymer particles are dispersed and with which the pigment(s)/dye(s) may or may not be soluble.

摘要： Described herein are solid and foamable fluoropolymer alloy compositions and foamed articles using said foamable fluoropolymer alloy compositions. The foamable fluoropolymer alloy compositions can comprise a fluoropolymer, and a plastic polymer mixed with said fluoropolymer, wherein said plastic polymer is miscible with said fluoropolymer. The fluoropolymer alloy composition may further comprise a foaming agent. By way of example, the foaming agent can be talc or a talc derivative, or a mixture of talc (or talc derivative) with a citrate compound, such as a citrate salt. One or more additives are added to render the compositions flame retardant and/or smoke suppressant.

The liquid composition is suitable for the preparation of ion exchange membranes and as binders for electrocatalytic layers for use in electrochemical applications.

The additive may be a triazole, alkyl triazole, vinyl triazole, fluoro-alkyl triazole, fluoro-vinyl triazole, pyrazole, alkyl pyrazole, vinyl pyrazole, fluoro-alkyl pyrazole, fluoro-vinyl pyrazole, benzimidazole, alkyl benzimidazole, vinyl benzimidazole, fluoro-alkyl benzimidazole, fluoro-vinyl benzimidazole or any mixture thereof to form a film having a thickness of from 3 to 200 microns. Ion exchange membranes so produced have reduced in-plane-swelling, improved dimensional stability and mechanical properties, and are useful as electrolytes in proton exchange membrane fuel cells.

摘要： Polymer particles are provided which contain fluorescent molecules with high presence ratio in a polymer layer thereof and a method for preparing thereof. Polymer particles are swelled in a non-aqueous solution excluding exclusively water preferably promotes selling of the polymer layer and transfer of the fluorescent molecules to the polymer layer could not protected by water molecules such that much more fluorescent molecule may be introduced into inside of the polymer layer. Furthermore, since the water is added to the reaction system prior to evaporation removal of the non-aqueous solvent, dry-up of the polymer particles is prevented by the water remained in the reaction system and the polymer particles including fluorescent molecules with high presence ratio of the fluorescent molecules preferably keep high dispersibility using the above described procedures.
