摘要： A method and product for creating a customizable fabric for specific end-use composites is provided. This method includes creating a three-dimensional matrix on woven fabrics, such as glass or carbon fiber fabrics via the addition of nanoparticles and a coupling agent; and, attaching a functional group compatible to specific resins dependent upon end use. The resulting product is a resin-free fabric with specific functional groups attached, ready to receive a particular polymer resin. Alternatively, the process may continue through to the addition of a polymer resin, resulting in a completed composite product.

摘要： The present invention relates to textile fabrics and methods of manufacturing textile fabrics. Particularly, the invention comprises a method of producing a fabric, comprising the steps of (i) blending chemo mechanically felting fibers with non-felting fibers into a blended feed material, (ii) spinning the blended feed material into a blended yarn, (iii) producing a fabric comprising the blended yarn, (iv) subjecting the fabric to a first fabric treatment comprising a mechanical felting treatment; and (v) subjecting the fabric to a second fabric treatment comprising a chemical treatment of the fabric with an alkali, wherein the ratio of weight of the alkali to dry fabric weight is between 0.02 and 0.05, thereby obtaining increased air space in the resultant fabric.

摘要： Provided is a fabric that semi-permanently absorbs water even without being subjected to water absorption treatment, i.e., an absorbent fabric that has a pleasant feel, can quickly absorb perspiration when worn, has excellent comfort, and is soft and suitable for use in inner wear, sportswear, etc. The absorbent fabric according to the present invention includes polyester fibers in which ethylene terephthalate constitutes at least 95 mol % of repeating units, wherein a carboxylic acid terminated linear oligomer component is present on the surface of the polyester fibers, and the absorbency according to the JIS L1907 dripping method after washing 30 times according to the JIS L0217 103 C method is at most 5 seconds. The polyester fibers preferably contain 0.005-1 wt % of the S element.

The fiber of the present disclosure comprises a photocatalyst bonded to it by means of a first functional group generated by a surface modifying agent and optionally, a second functional group generated by a silicon containing linker. 摘要： The present invention provides fabrics with cut loop group and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the core yarn at the section where said loops are being cut is outwardly protruded from the covering yarns, while the synthetic fiber divided yarn, which is a core yarn, is separated into multiple filaments. The fabrics with cut loop group show superior characteristics in polishing properties, sliding properties, water absorption properties, rapid drying properties and feeling of touch since polishing can be performed while easily catching foreign substances such as extremely minute dust particles or human hairs and the like by the synthetic fiber divided yarn which functions as a hook. Thus the fabrics with cut loop group according to the present invention can be used usefully in the products such as various kind of mats, towels, bathroom products, and the like including dishclothes and mops.

摘要： Provided herein is a method of removing hair from a textile article or the like. The method comprises providing a solid or liquid composition comprising sodium hydroxide, dispersing the solid or liquid concentrate in an aqueous medium that is contacted with the textile article or the like, such that the concentration of sodium hydroxide in the aqueous medium is 1-15% w/w, and maintaining the aqueous medium in contact with the textile article or the like at a temperature between 10° C. and 120° C. for a period of between 1 and 180 minutes. The sodium hydroxide causes dissolution of hair from the textile article. There is also provided a concentrate comprising sodium hydroxide used in such method. Such method is particularly useful in treating human hairwear, especially hairwear used in sanitary conditions, such as food production, and for pet products to which animal hair may adhere.
